Lily’s Pizza & Pasta

When this place first changed its name to Lily’s it was pretty fantastic as far as pizza shops using all frozen stuff from SAMs club /​costco goes. However things have drastically changed, delivery times are 1.5 hours and I live half a mile away on the same road the restaurant is on. Since the delivery times have been so horrid we decided to just give them another few tries doing pickup. Every time we are told it will be ready in 15 – 20 minutes, I’ll wait 30 mins before leaving my house and I still have to wait 10 – 15 minutes for my food when I arrive. Pizzas take a couple minutes or 10 max to bake, everything else is frozen bulk bought crap just thrown into a fryer for a few minutes. Never an explanation or apology as to why everything takes so long, our money will be spent elsewhere even though this is the closest restaurant to our house.

I’ve had their pizza several times now and it’s very good! Last night we ordered with extra cheese and it was awesome! I haven’t had anything else yet but need to try their cheesesteak.

Call was placed to Lillys pizza and pasta at 6:43 PM Saturday night while placing this order I let the receptionist know that I will be paying with a $ 100 bill and to please make sure that the delivery person has change for this transaction, in fact I mentioned the cash situation twice. At 7:52 PM having not received what was ordered for delivery yet, I called to inquire about an estimated time of arrival for a simple two-​person meal, I spoke to Gladys who assured me that the meal is on its way, sure enough our delivery arrived 15 minutes later. The delivery person arrived with one $ 50 bill two $ 20’s and a few singles, not enough to provide the exact change, in fact we would be last $ 15 short not including tip. I Immediately called Lillys pizza and pasta back and spoke to Gladys again who was very defensive on the phone and not wanting to except any of the blame. The phone conversation ended amicably with Gladys stating that someone would bring the remainder ofcash that we are owed. Fast forward an hour and a half and still no delivery person has arrived with my change from the $ 100 bill. This time my boyfriend picks up the phone who has been here with me the entire time and has heard all of the conversations that I have had with Gladys. Gladys states that I hung up on her during our second phone call (we both said good bye, who hung up on who?). Anyway within 20 minutes my change was delivered. Poor customer service and the food was cold and subpar. For headache free dining, avoid Lilly’s Pizza.

Formally Nimo’s pizza, Lilly’s serves your typical pizzeria fare; including pasta, sandwiches, salads, wings and more. They are the only non-​corporate owned national chain that offers delivery in the area (for an additional fee).
We especially love their pizza because the crust is firm, crisp and delicious. Their cheese is real (it’s more cheese than oil!), so the orange drip other local pizza shops have is minimal here. Their sandwiches are pretty good too. The only Achilles heel about this place is timing. When an order is placed and they say 10 minutes, leave your house about 20 minutes later because they tend to get backed up and you end up waiting in the restaurant for sometime. Although there is no public wifi, there is a large screen TV while you wait.
Their delivery service is fairly quick, we tried it a handful of times, but pickup is still the quickest.
Their Monday special is two large cheese pizzas for $ 18, this is great for the area as the portion sizes of each slice is big and the taste…
One off-​menu item they have are garlic knots. If you had knots in the past, you’ve got to try theirs. Pair that with their amazing sauce and you’ve all set!

Everything is Made fresh. Well worth the extra time. Love this place The amount of food for the money is outstanding.

Decided tonight we were done with Lilys. This is the 3^rd time in a row that the delivery time has been longer than an hour. When you call to check the status of your delivery it always seems to be «just coming out of the oven». Good food but there are better pizza places around that you can drive to, pick up your order and have eaten it I. The time it takes Lilys to deliver.

Great food. Friendly service. BYOB. Plenty of menu options! Buffalo Chicken Pizza is the best!!!
