I impulsively bought a bag at a SF street fair. Turned out it was poor quality leather and the dye ruined my clothes. I’ve tried sending multiple emails to the owners to learn how to prevent this and have had no response. I would recommend playing it safe and purchasing a bag through a department store. Higher quality at the same or lower price. Don’t indulge your impulses with the Leather Merchant.

Spotted this guy at a summer wine festival and just happened to be looking for a much smaller bag (after shoulder surgery) when I fell in love with one of his designs. I suppose the bag isn’t very unusual looking but the thought that went into the design and the superior functionality makes this a winner. Also, it was resonably priced. i will probably end up getting another in a differnet color.

This guy makes and designs all of his products. Five stars to his friendliness and complete thought put into his designs. The leather he uses is comparable to Coach without the weight.
I purchased one of his shoulder bags and cannot believe the quality and craftsmanship put into his work.
