Don’t let the nice reception area fool you. I came in here for an emergency tooth ache which has never happened before. Unfortunately my regular dentist was out of town for the holidays so I was scrambling to find one open on a Friday. My tooth hurt so bad that I was unable to eat for the past two days. I left work 6 hours early due to the pain. Once I walked inside I was initially thinking that maybe I would switch dentists since this is closer to my house. The staff was almost too friendly, almost scripted, to the point it seemed odd. The hygienist was VERY nice. Though once the dentist came in I felt the same forced niceness. This immediately diminished when he talked to his staff which was downright rude. Regardless I came in there for an excruciating toothache. He looked at my tooth and actually stated, «I think your nerve is inflamed all the way through your nasal cavity. You’ll have to suffer through the weekend.» WTF!!! I missed work and came in here for some sort of relief. I left the office with just as much pain as I came in with. I was in soo much pain that I was ready to pull the tooth out myself. My wife who is an R.N. was livid when I came home still in excruciating pain. Not to mention another night of sleeplessness. The pain got so bad that I vomited and almost passed out. She went to the drug store and purchased almost $ 100 in over the counter pain medication and topical creams which allowed me to finally eat a small meal and sleep. I would NEVER go there again. I’ve never heard of a health professional tell someone to «suck it up» when they come in there for relief.
