Interstate Towing Services

Car broke down at Harris Ranch on I-​5. Interstate came quickly and took me where I needed to go. They offered some good options on where I could take my car. Dispatch called me a few times to discuss. Mike, the driver, was professional. He treated my car as though it were his. Loaded it carefully and we were on our way. The tow truck had a neat little feature. It was a huge cab. The back seat was bigger than my first apartment, so if you’re driving a minivan full of whomever, they’ll fit. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars-​paying $ 8/​mile hurts. Yes, I know it’s the industry standard (perhaps even on the low side), but it still hurts. If you have to break down, hope they answer the call.

I had a tire explode, in the general vicinity of Coalinga, and first I called another tow company, which took three hours and never showed up, and didn’t call back.
So, after waiting three (3) hours, I called Interstate.
The dispatcher was awesome, she helped me and when I gave her the info as to my location, she told me it would be 20 mins. It was less.
Then…Manuel shows up. Jumps out of the truck and told me to wait in the truck.
He had me ready to go in 10 mins, and we headed for Fresno. Not only is he extremely likeable and personable, he’s also a good dude, family man, and loves his job and is damn good at it, too. He even offered to run me to a hotel on his way back out of Fresno, but I got another ride.
COMPLETELY SATISFIED, AND VERY MUCH APPRECIATE THE TOW.
Great company with fantastic people.

Two weeks ago my car broke down on the off ramp in the middle of nowhere California. I called AAA in tears because I knew it was my transmission and I was 200 miles from home. My AAA insurance only had a 5 mile tow approval so I cancelled it and was trying to figure out the jacked up towing insurance included in my car insurance when Flo called me asking why I cancelled. I tearfully explained o her what was going on-​she was so worried about my safety… she sent Manuel. Manuel showed up with care and concern as well as Hawaiian music on his radio. He had me laughing by the time he got me and my Explorer to a safe well lit place in which I could sort out the mess I was in. These two people were amazing, definitely went above and beyond the call of duty.

So we’re on a very important trip up north. Car breaks down… Not only was the operator on the phone very nice to talk and helpful but I have to give it up to my man Manuel. Give This dude a raise! Really into his work and such a cool dude. I believe the world needs more people like this guy. Seriously, this guy is so helpful and easygoing. Thank you Manuel you’re a dope dude!

Worst experience with a tow truck «company» ever. Been a member of AAA Premium services for years and had to deal with this «company» to get my truck towed. The «receptionist» gave me a really bad attitude and ended up deciding not to use their services. AAA doesn’t need companies like this. Dont bother to give this company a try, you will regret it. Too bad i couldnt give it 0 stars.

Thank you Mike for coming to the rescue! We had a flat tire out in the middle of nowhere and luckily I have AAA. Called AAA and Mike came out within 30 minutes to help us change to a spare and check for a leak. He was able to recommend us to a 24 hour tire shop too to get our tire patched up.

The two stars are only for the tow truck driver who helped me with my flat tire he did a great job and was very polite, unlike the back office. I called in to inquire information and the receptionist gave me attitude. I don’t think she had her daily donuts this morning because she was completely rude and the attitude was not necessary. It convinced me that this company is not professional. Not only was the receptionist rude but her employer defended her action when I brought it up. I never want to work with them ever again. Actually, I’m changing it to one star.
