I was here on business and wanted some Mexican food. I came here with some co workers and we had a party of 8 on a weeknight. Service was fast despite having other customers and almost a full seating capacity inside. The food was good. The service was great. There is nothing negative about this place. I am glad they were open late as we were there around 9PM after a long day in the field office.

The price is more than one $. It should be a minimum of $$ or $$$.
The portions are OK. The carne asada was tough. The rice and beans were good. The French fries were cold. They only have one type of white wine.
The server was not as friendly as the reviews suggest. Maybe she was having a bad day? I will not stop in for a second visit.

I’ve been here twice, the first time I was practically arguing with the waitress because I had asked for grilled shrimp and they gave me boiled shrimp for a tostada. Pretty much I was wrong and they were right in this case the customer is not always right, she even made sure I knew I was going to get charged regardless I never even asked to get my money back?! smh. I went again thinking why not give it another try I take my kids (6 and 4) they love shrimp so this time I made sure I asked for grilled shrimp not boiled, we get it served really pretty until they take a bite it was too spicy for them when I told the lady she said they don’t put anything spicy when I asked her what was the seasoning she said lemon pepper okay pepper is spicy if u put too much I wish I would have took a picture, she ends up asking if we want more lemon I get its a Mexican restaurant and they have spicy foods but come on she knew it was for my kids, sucks I hope nobody else has the same service as I did highly recommend being specific about what u want. 2 stars because at least the second time she didn’t argue with me.

Excellent food. Taco great, beans, great, chile rellenos, great one of the best eaten. Drove here from I5. Gasoline $.60 per gallon cheaper. Having lunch. Highly recommend you get off the beaten path, 15 miles, and fill up and eat here.

Husband and I ate dinner tonight and was very good. I had carnitas enchiladas with green sauce and loved every bite. Like another reviewer wrote, I also had horchata and it did taste watered down. Would definitely recommend.

Great service! The food was very authentic and overall delicious. There were some small negatives — the horchata was tasty but a little watered down, and the carne asada and carnitas were a bit dry. Otherwise savory and the salsa was delightfully spicy!

By far the best Mexican in town, and I used to live in East LA where there was authentic Mexican on every corner!
Excellent Mariscos, simply delicious. Almost makes me not miss LA so much, almost.
Homemade beans like I am used to, so good. So far everything I have tried is outstanding.

I always love this place and their service! Their food is always delicious and the server is always attentive sweet and incredibly helpful especially when you want to try something new on the menu. The food has great flavor and I’ve yet to have anything I don’t love, plus they ALWAYS have guacamole which is more than I can say for the other Mexican restaurants in town, I know it’s a small thing but honestly for me it makes a difference! Highly recommend.

Great Mexican food. Food prepared fresh. Clean environment. We enjoyed the chile verde plate. Next time we’re in Coalinga we will stop again & try the fajitas — they looked great too!

This Place is so awesome for a quick lunch, they serve the food quick no long wait in comparison to other mex restaurant in town. Regarding food it is authentic and good, haven’t had a fabulous lunch but again I haven’t tried many dishes…

Great mexican food done for cheap, and if want a good Cheledas while in Coalinga this is the place to go. The service is generally good too. Enjoy.

On our way to San Francisco we stopped for a bite instead of fast food drive through. It was definitely worth the detour! My husband and I both had crispy tacos that were yummy, with crunchy shells that were not oily. Chips, salsa and guacamole where good and the staff was very nice.
Small minus that they had no agua frescas and were out of al pastor.
We would definitely stop in again.

I would agree the food tastes good, but today at the bottom of my bowl of «unsalted chips «I found a significant layer of salt and much dried old salsa. That tells me that the bowls are not washed, and the unused chips are probably being re-​served to other guests. I have eaten at this place many times, but today was the last.

I was on a road trip with my son and we needed a quick but real meal, kind of late. They were closing in 10 minutes, but the hostess was totally sweet about us eating in or taking to go. We ordered lunch combos to go, and everything was delicious, the place was clean and the hostess was very friendly.

Best Mexican food in town! Their mixed fajitas are the best and best cheladas for sure!!! Yummm.

For a small town like Colinga, Ca where you blink your eyes and you have passed the town, this food was awesome… It truly is authentic Mexican food.

Stop by today, had the shrimp fajita it was great. Service was good, clean location. I’ll come by next time I’m the area.
