I’m not too sure why there are so many low reviews but had a really pleasant morning here. It is a nice warm, comforting spot especially on a grey, drizzly morning. Our preschooler loved the assortment of toys for his age in the corner which gave his parents a chance to read news and enjoy their morning drinks. The barista and the cashier were very friendly starting my week on the right foot. My husband enjoyed his Americano and I had one of the best London fogs(Earl Grey, vanilla, steamed milk) here that I’ve ever had. The Madagascar vanilla syrup really made a difference!

Friendly staff, busy little corner shop. Lousy coffee though, typical American style coffee flavoured hot water. My cappuccino was served way too hot, and they asked me how much foam or how thick of the foam I like!!! Excuse me? Staffs are quite friendly though.

Love local tullys. People are friendly, and yes it can get busy. But well worth the wait. Best neighborhood coffee and tea house.

I have to give this place 2 stars because of several experiences I have had here. I only give it 2 stars because they make a damn good latte and foam, which is what counts. But I have to dock a star because the parking lot is absolutely ridiculous. Horrible lot. But the other stars I dock are on the customer service. The baristas at the cash wrap are so unfriendly and unwelcoming, I am not sure who is going to help me or if I am bothering them. This isn’t just a one time thing. This most recent time I walked up to order and I look at the girl and she doesn’t even give me a «hi what can i get for you today?» I look at her and she at me and I make the initial HI. And the whole time she just looked bored and like I was interrupting her doing something more important. No «thank you have a nice day or anything» either… …Maybe there is a reason Tully’s is going out of business and closing up shop… I dock another star because last time I was in I ordered a slice of quiche because I was starving and the slice was COLD in the middle… If you are looking for friendly service, don’t come here, you will get friendlier service at a Starbucks. But if you don’t care and want a good latte with good foam, then I would recommend this place.

Great coffee, I love that it is local! Another NW coffee place — I guess we are good at coffee up here! They brew a great coffee! They’re always friendly and willing to whip up your complicated coffee orders. Great people, great coffee, great place!

After a 2 year hiatus on Unilocal, compliments of graduate school, I have returned. And as a fresh grad now studying for a board exam, what better way to return to Unilocal than to review… a coffee shop. Because right now, everything comes back to studying. I met a friend here so we could get our study on. We agreed to meet around 11am. I got there around 10:45am and couldn’t find a parking spot in their lot to save my soul. Fortunately, there was street parking, though not much available at this hour. How I got us a table is beyond me. I really like Tully’s. A lot. I feel like they’re the forgotten middle child in the great coffee wars of Seattle. One of the things I like about Tully’s is that the service has, in general, been pleasant.(Another thing is I prefer the taste of their coffee, but that’s just me.) Sadly, I didn’t get the awesome service I’ve come to expect from Tully’s…the girl behind the counter looked at me like she was completely over me before I even got to the counter(I put deodorant on and everything, I don’t know what was up) and rolled her eyes after I placed my order. …I just ordered an americano.(Okay, so it’s been two years since I’ve been active on Unilocal.Did«americano» come to mean something else while I was gone?) The drink was fine and the place does, strangely, clear out around noon or 1pm, but if you’re going in the morning, bring your Parking Angel and say a prayer or three to it.

This place is a disorganized disaster. Every time I have come here, they take 10+ minutes to make my drink, there is always only one person working, and every person I have seen working there is frazzled and constantly dropping things. Today I went here to get an iced tea. At Starbucks, they have iced tea in a pitcher, they pour it in with ice, give it to you, done. Takes less than a minute. Here…so they had to steep the tea first, but they forgot to steep it and made all 5 drinks that the person behind me ordered, then they steeped the tea, then they poured the hot tea into a cup with ice, then the guy dropped my lid on the floor before putting it on me tea, and the tea was oversteeped. Took around 10 minutes. Too bad that this is the closest coffee shop to my house. The location doesn’t make up for the slovenliness and disorganization.

I came to this Tully’s location and arrived a little earlier for a work meeting. Not having been here before, O-M-G. It was jam packed on a Thursday morning filled with soccer moms after their morning runs and yoga classes, along with the polished residents of Clyde Hill. The dogs on leashes outside this establishment were half the fun! Such cuties! But this place was jammin’! The buzz and chatter could rival that of a bar on a Friday night. Seriously. I popped open my laptop waiting for a colleague to arrive and couldn’t get my internet connection to work at all. I’ve never had this issue at Starbucks or any other coffee location — argh. Shortly later, the crowd started to die down. My coffee was very Tully’s — not strong enough at all but did the job. Kinda sorta.

It’s a nice Tully’s; the staff is very friendly and the coffee is good. One note… trying to park near here in the morning is almost impossible. I typically have to park a block or two away. This is not because of a parking shortage, but this location is packed in the mornings.

Always fun! Very queit and away from everything. Nice to get away from 520 traffic and relax. I’m not a coffe drinker but love jucies and bottle water. I just like how the place is laid out and how nothign else is really around.

This nice, cozy neighborhood café is exactly what the residents of Yarrow Point, Medina, Clyde Hill, Bellevue, and other surrounding areas need. Not too busy, and if you happen to live around here, you’ll probably run into someone you know. While everything about Starbucks still reigns supreme to Tully’s, it’s the experience here that really matters. You can sit here and just enjoy the free wifi without having to buy anything and the employees aren’t going to kick you out of the store(from personal experience). It’s also a great place just to meet up with old friends, build community while you’re at it, or people-watch. I really hope that this particular Tully’s doesn’t go away; it’s my go-to after a long walk/run around the neighborhood, and a nice, semi-busy place just to sit and contemplate life.

Convenient and comfortable, my preference for either grabbing a quick cup or hanging around and taking advantage of the free internet. Staff are good at remembering return customer orders, which is an offshoot of the fact that this isn’t the highest volume coffee place you could go to. A result is that you get a nice«neighborhood coffee place» feel out of a chain company. Never had a burnt-tasting cup here either. That bumps it to 5 stars.

This is nearly the only commercial/business location near the points. Without a real coffee shop anywhere else in Clyde Hill, Yarrow Point, or Hunts Point, this is a great location. It’s also really convenient to pick something up on the way to 520 for commuters heading to Seattle or Bellevue.

I’m actually kind of surprised that no one’s reviewed this particular Tully’s location so far. Maybe because it’s kinda hidden over there on the north side of Clyde Hill — and that probably makes it a bit more of a local spot for people who live in this community. Nevertheless, it’s still a great spot well warranting of a review. Let me just preface this review by stating *I LOATHESTARBUCKS*. Won’t go in. I’ll get coffee at a gas station before I support Howard Schultz — the man who sold away my Sonics… Whew…glad I got that out of the way… And I digress… This Tully’s is my local refuge. This particular spot is the closest coffee shop to my parent’s house. And whenever I’m house-sitting for them, or just in the mood to take my dog for a walk down the street — this is my destination. I love this Tully’s. Firstly because it’s so close. And secondly because it has such a ‘neighborhoody’ feel to it. What makes it feel neighborhoody? The fact that people come in here, get coffee and actually sit and STAY for a while. I’d venture to guess that some people probably stay here for HOURS and just socialize and catch up. Something you don’t see often enough in our busy work-day schedules. They’ve got some decent pictures on the wall. But my god — please rotate them from time to time. I think I’ve seen the same wildlife photos in there for about 3 years now. Don’t get me wrong, they’re good shots — but c’mon — it’s not like there are a shortage of photographers looking for display space. This Tully’s needs to update the artwork on their walls BADLY. I went to a Tully’s in Wallingford recently and they had some Awesome photography on the walls. A few weeks later, they had rotated it with some completely new stuff — equally cool. I hope that this Tully’s catches on and decides to switch out their artwork from time to time. The staff here is young and pretty nice. They make their drinks decently well — but without any real flair or personality. If this place had at least one superstar barista — I mean, someone who really takes PRIDE in making their espresso, this place would jump a couple of notches. It’s a good place to study — lots of young people here working on computers or with their noses proverbially embedded in books. Or a good spot to just kick back and read a book. It’s dog friendly on the outside — with a water bowl and a spot to leash up your furry friend while you dose up on caffeine on the inside. Love this spot. With a couple of internal upgrades, this Tully’s would really stand out from the other Tully’s around. And I think since they’re in such a small neighborhood, they have the flexibility to do that if they wanted to. For the time being, I’m giving them a solid 3 stars. All this typing has fueled my need for a walk down to get a cup. Coffee anyone?
