Terrible experience. The woman behind the register was WEIRD! We walked up to the register and she was talking to another staff. She made us wait until she finished her innocuous conversation then walked up to the register without a greeting and we had to say hi first. Then my girlfriend told her she wanted a bonsai planter that was outside and paid for it, but when we went to pick it up, it was in bad condition, so I asked for our money back, but she REFUSED. She was totally unapologetic about it.

I’ve been there 2 times so far and I absolutely like the place a lot. Many plants are out there, they add color and positive energy to the surrounding, so beautiful. I bought kaffir lime tree, Buddha hand tree, and peach tree. They are healthy and in good size gallon pot. The prices are very reasonable too. The girls are friendly and the strong man who assisted me is kind too. They may not have enough man power but they are willing to assist you. One thing disappointed me… I was looking for a special type of hisbscuit flower and the CS jotted down the plant name and my number, saying that they will do searching and will contact me within a week. I never heard from them regarding this matter. Overall, I am satisfied and highly recommend you to stop by and check it out in Spring time.

They have a large selection which is quite nice. However, it is difficult to find someone to assist you. Even when I did find someone, he had such a heavy accent that I could not make out what he was saying. He had also spelled out a couple of plant names and they were all wrong; I couldn’t find them later via a search on the internet. I later on found out that his information on the Italian Cypress was far off. What made it worse was that more than half of the varieties of trees weren’t labeled. It’s great if you are accustomed to gardening and landscaping but if you’re a newbie, it becomes a huge hassle and you’re on your own. Afterwards, I went to Evergreen Garden Center. Although a smaller selection, I received help from three people. Enrique was incredibly informative and provided me with information that I did not receive at Willow Gardens. More than names, he gave me information on whether it matched a certain style of landscaping, if it was waterwise, the pest/vermin concerns, etc. I’ll only go to Willow Gardens if Evergreen doesn’t have the plant that I am looking for. I’m giving 3 stars to Willow Gardens(despite my complaints) because their staff was at least friendly, and they have a large selection of plants.

I always get good advice and beautiful plants and trees here. It may take a bit of time to find the help, but that is because of the personalized service they give each customer! In the meantime I admire everything there

What an awesome place! I found the most beautiful plants, a peacock whirligig, friendly staff and such a beautiful setting. Definitely will go back.

Although their staff seems knowledgable their lack of customer care screams«don’t come in again». A Let down experience. Research on the Internet and buy from a big box store… when you can get ahold of an associate they seem to care more.

Like the previous reviewer KAR mentioned, it is hard to find ANYONE who works there. You can wander endlessly and not run into a single soul which has its ups and downs ! On the first visit, we shot some hoops in their little basketball court and explored different parts of the nursery, ALL without a single verbal exchange to an employee. I was able to scope out the facility and get a feel for what I could buy there. On my second visit, I was set on buying some plants. I decided on Willow Gardens because it had all I needed in one place. The bougainvillae, bird of paradise and dwarf variety fruit trees I had been eyeing and researching were all in inventory. Suprisingly on this day a gentleman asked my bf and I if I needed help with anything. Rudy was the man’s name and he was responsive to all my questions, everything from the smell of a flower to how to trim a tree. He walked with me to help pick out all the plants I wanted and gave me tips in caring for them. My bf said he even learned a few things from the time Rudy spent with us. I was really greatful that Rudy was attentive enough to ask such a simple question that day. He truly was being helpful that day and wasn’t trying to sell me anything. He listened to my wants and needs and responded accordingly. I got a total of 4 trees, 2 plants, 2 vines and a bag of fertizer delivered to my home for a small fee. I had a pleasant visit that day. I am giving this place 4⁄5 stars because I felt they could have more employees to help those of us who are gardening challenged. In addition, some of their inventory didn’t look so healthy but because they had a lot in stock, you had other options. I can’t vouch for how their plants will turn out as it has only been a couple days since I planted but for now-they are looking healthy.

I’ve been here a few times. The grounds are absolutely dreamy: lush rose gardens, gazebos covered in flowering vines, gorgeous flower and herb gardens. It’s more of a place to buy plants if you know exactly what you’re looking for and need employees just to tell you where the right plants are. Whenever I’ve been there there never seem to be enough employees to deal with customers; I have to walk around and find someone, and that person is usually busy with someone else and can’t do more than just point me in the right direction. I did go there once looking for a small tree for a patio garden. I didn’t know what species of tree I needed, but I knew it couldn’t mature to be much more than 10 feet high and 8 – 10 feet wide. I explained this to the employee, and she assured me that a Chinese elm would fit the bill perfectly. I looked this tree up on line to discover that it matures to 40 – 60 feet. Huh? I’m so glad I didn’t buy on her recommendation!
