Tide Massage Therapy

Traci is truly gifted. She is very organized and thoughtful on her approach to time spent on different parts of the body and seems to care without overstepping. Her manner even gets you calm without being ‘flaky.’ I believe the best massage therapists were given a gift. Traci has it! I have to say Pam was excellent, too. She is a lovely person and also excellent. I would happily she her again as well, but Traci’s more holistic approach gives her a slight edge for me.

I have been coming to Tracy for over a year and would go no where else. She has accommodated me with a fluctuating work schedule and is professional. Her massages are to die for. She is knowledgeable about essential oils, aromatherapy and holistic approaches to health. Every time I go it has been an enjoyable, relaxing experience. I would highly recommend her.

I was seeking a new massage therapist, so I purchased a Living Social from Tide Massage. I set my appointment via their web site. My massage therapist is Pam Mao. I did not know what to expect in regard to their location since I am not a native to the Old Town Clovis area. Although I live across town from their location, I thought I would give them a try since I was seeking a new massage therapist. Since it was my first appointment, I had to fill out paperwork, as is the protocol for most massage therapy businesses. After I filled out the paperwork, the session ensued. The pressure was amazing. I was seeking a new massage therapist since my body seemed to be getting more tense as time passes and my previous therapist was not fulfilling the need for that additional pressure. Pam successfully filled that need. I have had a second session with Pam. That session was great, as well. There is one peeve that I do have. Since Pam’s email address is not set up, I have had to email Tracy. My first email to her was not answered for 3 days. My second email still has yet to be answered. From those experiences, I suggest a person call rather than email. I find it rather unprofessional to take that long to answer an email, but since I can schedule an appointment via an appointment software, coupled with a great massage, I can overlook that for the time being.

The owner comment to my original post is absolutely ridiculous. Everything I said in my post is completely accurate. I have no reason to write anything that’s not true. I also did not «confront» the massage therapist in the parking lot! Lol! The massage therapist Pam was on the phone with me while I was standing in front of the door and met me in front of the store. Pam never said she was uncomfortable working with me and was the one who wanted me to return in the first place and even texted me apologizing again saying she looked forward to our new appointment! Tracy was the one who stalked and harassed me for DAYS after I left with phone calls, emails, and texts BECAUSE I TOLD HER I WOULD WRITE THIS REVIEW. If anyone would like proof I have saved all of the emails, texts, and phone records from Tracy and would be happy to share them! Like I said, I’ve already filed a report against Tracy and her even commenting on my review is a violation of that and I’ve also reported her stalking and harassment to the BBB and FTC and I’ll have to update THOSE with her new comment! I will continue to let everyone I come into contact with know about what tide massage has done and I won’t let Tracy or anyone from Tide intimidate me!

I went here after my husband purchased a Living Social deal… last year!!! My deal was about to expire, hadn’t used it due to pregnancy, and she said as long as I scheduled the appt before the expiration date that she would honor it.
Scheduling was easy, there is a website to book your session which is convenient, instead of having to talk on the phone and go back and forth on dates/​times.
In the email I received confirming my session, it gives a few tips that are helpful. One of them says to not bring guests, which was good for me to see since I was going to bring my youngest… instead they waited in the car for me.
Tracey, massage therapist, asked if I could set my time back by 1hr due to a personal issue, in exchange she offered me an extra 15min for my trouble. I gladly accepted. I do want to note that she said she would still accommodate my original time if I could not do the later time, which was very nice.
She gave me a standard form to fill out that took about 2min and then asked what scented oil I would like, she had several to choose from. I decided on Lavender/​Chamomile.
She left the room while I disrobed and got comfortable on the table. The room is small but nicely decorated and gives you a warm/​comfy feeling.
The room was dimmed, the music was playing and I was ready to receive my message… and boy was it awesome!!! The last time I had a professional massage was 5yrs ago!!!
I felt so good and relaxed the whole time, like you should when you get a massage. Not once was the pressure to much, it was just right.
Now she did warn me though that I needed to drink plenty of water since it was so long that I last had a massage. She explained to me how during the massage the lymph nodes release toxins and therefore you need to flush them out w/​water.
She was very right, after I left I felt nauseas but was able to keep the water down and now today I feel just fine.
I will definitely return, she did a great job and was very nice and the prices are reasonable as well.

She’s amazing! I have had many massages in my lifetime, and she is one of the best. GREAT PLACE, sweet owner, the best massages.
