I have to give this place 5 stars. This is a hospital restaurant and the food is better and cheaper then some other restaurants around town. I work nights some times and I am glad that this place is open. The prices are very reasonable as well. Highly recommended!

Wonderful food. I can’t believe a hospital cafeteria offers such a variety of tasty foods. Lots of low calorie and healthy options. I brought my own drink in. Now I will go there when I’m not visiting someone sock. Wood fired pizza is fantastic and cheap. Sandwich wraps are amazing. Grilled hamburgers and veggies available. Peets coffee house is inside the cafeteria. You have to try this place.

This is my 1st eating experience at the Grove Café on 10-1-2015 at 3:30pm. It was my late lunch so I ordered me a yummy fresh baked custom pizza. I chose 4 toppings of Canadian Bacon, Pineapple, Onion & Mushroom. I’m not a pizza fan, but I gave 4 stars to this one. I was so impressed myself that I ate it up with 15 mins. The crust was chewy and cheese was delicious. Highly recommend the pizza if you ever eat lunch or dinner there.

I eat here a lot because I work here and there’s always something new, tasty and delicious! Everything’s good! I can’t sing their praises enough, I’d even consider stopping by the hospital on my way out of town to pick up coffee and breakfast, fresher food and greater value than anything else on this side of town.

I recently tried the food here and I gave it a 4 because I tried the salad bar for lunch and the chicken they had there tasted nasty, absolutely no flavor. Then I tried the hamburger with fries let me tell u it looks small, but filled me up! Man was that hamburger good though! the place is so clean and nice I loved it. Overall best hospital cafeteria food ever.

Far and away the best hospital cafeteria I’ve ever experienced. They’ll build an omelette, make a sandwich, cook a fresh pizza, and there’s a great salad bar. If you’re in a hurry there are also plenty of things for grab and go. That comes in handy because when they’re busy there can be a bit of a wait. Besides this being an excellent café, it’s also really inexpensive. I just had a three egg omelette for $ 2.49. Are you kidding me? Win!

Hands down, the best hospital cafeteria I’ve been to. The food is great(wood-fired pizzas, burgers to order, quinoa in the salad bar, excellent assortment of pre-packaged and fresh sandwiches and salads), the prices are low(under $ 3.00 for my caesar chicken salad wrap), and the people are friendly. And the dining area is both modern and comfy. If it weren’t for the staffers in their scrubs eating at nearby tables, one could almost forget we were dining in a hospital. Not bad… not bad at all.

WHAT!!! Chef D’s giving a hospital cafeteria 4 stars?! Madness… Actually, it’s a very well-deserved 4 stars. Recently, my Wife and I were guests at CCH’s L&D wing, and out of the four meals I ate their, every single one was good to great. This is not a hair-net and steam table hell type of place. More like a BYO omelet station and wood-fired pizza type of place(try the pizza… It’s really good). They keep everything fresh and cook a lot of their food a la minute, and they’re clean. It’s a new facility so they have that in their favor, but it’s obvious that they take pride in their presentation. No trash littering the soda fountain area or torn up salad bar — even when they’re busy. Also, they don’t humiliate the cooks by making them wear smocks. They empower them with embroidered chef jackets(trust me, that’s a big thing for kitchen workers). Room service was speedy and impeccable, and the food was always delivered hot to our room. And the prices! Where else in town can you get a true wood-fired pizza made to order for $ 3.50? Overall, a great value. The Grove really made our experience more enjoyable and I would eat there again for sure.

Usually, I prefer to steer away from hospital cafeterias. However because I was hungry and needed to stay at the hospital, I gave The Grove Café a try. Glad I did. I orderd a double hamburger with bacon and all the fixings. Freshly made, charbroiled to perfection. The chef was courteous and organized. They café offered many food options cooked to order as well as premade and packaged items. Very modern and clean place to eat. It beats all hospital cafes I have tried.
