I was traveling through on my way to Albuquerque and my hotel recommended this restaurant when I asked where I could celebrate Chinese New Year. I was impressed with the large selection of the Asian food, service was prompt, nice, and friendly but the question is, how well does the food taste? For Clovis, I was surprised. The pot stickers were excellent and the Thai tea was yummy. I’m glad Clovis has a nice Asian restaurant to go to.

MSG Beware!!! I’m in MN for a business trip and decided to stop at Thai City for lunch. I told the waitress that I’m allergic to MSG and it’s could kill me so, please do not put in all the food I ordered. She said they didn’t use MSG there. Well, food were ok, some salty, some too sweet but I’m now Iam very sick in the hotel room because of MSG that they’re using.

Best chicken fried rice I ever had! This is our go to restaurant in Clovis. The staff is so-so but the food is on point.

Thai City is your typical catch-all, generic Asian restaurant. You can order sushi, phở, and rice and noodle-based dishes. With no specialization, the food is fair but nothing spectacular. For the area, it is likely the best option of its kind. After the fire, they seemed to have stepped up their fame in my opinion. The service is good and the food not a pure grease/MSG overload. I still only go when I’m really craving an outing since no dish really stand out as signatory. It works well for a once every month or so stop-in.

One of my main staples for food in Clovis. Mainly because, It’s one of the few restaurants in Clovis I haven’t got food poisoning from, so there’s that. Good Thai food, best option for phở, and a gigantic menu. You can’t go wrong with most of the Thai options on the menu. If you start branching out to more American options like orange chicken, or Kung pow chicken it tastes pretty standard. Service is friendly and fast. No complaints from my end. Definitely worth the try.

Mediocre at best. Worst Sushi I have ever had(California topped with blue crab etc) and the Udon #72 were ok. The service was so so. Our table was beyond wobbly. I was afraid to touch it and have my food fall off of it.

This restaurant was OK before the fire and now is is horrible. We tried this place when we first moved here and my family was excited to see«Phở» on the menu. So naturally we decided to order it to get our«fix»…let’s just say I would rather it not be on the menu than to disrespect this highly regarded Vietnamese dish. I am just fortunate that my wife learned my mother’s recipe! Service was decent before, but it has gone downhill since the accident.

This place was packed for dinner on a Wednesday which is a good sign as we had not tried it before. Crab Rangoons were fresh and delicious but they don’t come with sweet and sour sauce. I had chicken teppanyaki which was delicious except for the steamed rice which had bits of egg in it. Hubs had chicken fried rice which he liked but I thought the rice looked mushy and not quite right. Son had sweet and sour chicken who looked ok. We also ordered cowboy rolls which waitress told us they were out of while giving us our entrees. We asked several times for yum yum sauce and never got an answer. Waitresses seem young and overwhelmed but just keep your order simple and give them some slack. We will definitely be going back and we will bring our own yum yum sauce!

They had a fire and are currently closed for renovations. One of my favorite places to eat in town and really the only place to get decent sushi in the area. Hopefully they open back up soon!

I’m a big sushi person, and refuse to eat any type of seafood sushi unless I’m by an ocean, river, or large body of water. If you need a quick fix I would recommend ther sushi without seafood such as the chicken roll(a chicken teriyaki with avocado and cucumber) or the New Mexican roll(fried green chili, avocado & cucumber).
