Went in after work to get a haircut and dye. Even though it was late, Tina, was nice enough to do both for me. This was my first time here and they all made me feel comfortable. Tina had another client waiting for her and she still took her time to finish with me and answer my questions. I will definitely be returning! Awesome customer service!

Super excited about my new style. So happy I found this place everyone was super friendly. They know how to do everything and I didn’t feel pressured into choosing a style they liked instead of what I wanted. I went in with a picture and it’s exactly what I got, SUPER cute! I’m definitely coming back for more.

Was able to get in on a Sunday for cut and color highlights. My stylist was super nice. She was very efficient and you could tell she really wanted to do a good job and that I liked my hair. Her name was Karina and was easy to talk to and I felt super comfortable in this salon. And I really love my hair. She did an awesome job! All the girls I. The salon are friendly and nice. Would definitely go back!

We’ve been coming here for 5 years for all four of us. We have never had a bad hair cut, Jessica is the best! Now we have to go to their new location in Madera to have her cut our hair, but it’s worth every mile!

Walked in for a trim and wanted to add in some more layers. I was in a chair immediately and the stylist, Tina, did an amazing job and was also very sweet! I received a high quality haircut (wash and blow dry also) for only $ 25! I will definitely be back!

I had my hair orange for about a year every salon I went to just couldn’t seem to fix the color… Every stylist I seen before this salon couldn’t get the color I invisioned … Then I came here and met Sadie (I hope I spelled her name correctly) anyway she did an amazing job at correcting my color to the pretty light brown I’ve wanted for about a year… Overall I am very pleased with the service I received and would recommend anyone here… It took her about 3 hours to do my hair… Because it WAS soo messed up and it’s really thick as well. but she did it!!! I couldn’t be happier with my results

I went in a couple of months ago and showed the gal a picture of the cut and length… I walked out with the shortest cut I’ve ever had that looked nothing like the picture… Not only was it a horrible cut but I walked out with wet hair. This is the first salon that I have ever walked out of with wet hair… obviously, I will never return and have shared this story with many others.

Love this place! It’s hard finding a good walk place that knows how to cut men’s and boys hair. It’s also not everyday you can walk in and get a true salon experience! The ladies here are super awesome and the owner is super friendly! Me and my family travel from northwest fresno out to clovis it’s about 15 min drive. It’s well worth it. Friendly, affordable and experienced! If you are in need this place rocks!!! Thank you shear magic ladies! My hubby and boys are always looking fly and my product for my hair is awesome

Went with two of my sisters to get a hair cut. I told her how short i wanted my hair to be (which was to be above my boobs) and she cut it up to my neck. She was nice, but wished she wouldn’t have cut that much off. Still paid and tip though. First time there today.

Not quite sure you can call yourself a salon if you aren’t full service. My daughter and I had our hair cut exactly 1 week apart without each other’s knowledge. She went here first and walked in. Started out great with washing her hair. Then came the cut. Then next… she was sent out with wet hair and told to go home style her hair and come back if she didn’t like it. A week later I walk in without an appointment and ask to have my haircut. Starts out great by washing my hair, cutting then telling me to go home and style my hair and come back if I didn’t like it. What «salon» doesn’t show you how to style the hair they just cut? There were no customers waiting. If I get home and don’t like your work I won’t be coming back to you. My daughter just keeps saying“what do we expect from $ 15.00″. I expect to pay $ 45 and have someone who washes and cuts my hair to dry & style my hair!

I have been coming here since they opened. best haircut in town and great value. Very professional.

I am new to the Clovis area and don’t know my way around yet. The one place I know where to go out of necessity is the Vons located at Fowler and Ashlan. Shear Magic is located here.
The fog and cold temperatures had been getting this Southern California girl down so I decided to go get a new do. I walked into the shop on a whim and asked for a haircut and color touch up. I had a picture of how I kinda wanted my hair cut, although I still wanted my super thick hair long enough to pull into a pony tail. Ashley was the available stylist at the time. It was my lucky day!
Ashley sat me in her chair, I pulled out my picture and we discussed the cut. She was cognizant to my super thick hair and what she need to do to make it easily controllable. She then pulled out the color swatches to match my «do it yourself» color to cover up my graying roots. Ashley put me completely at ease with her warm personality and knowledge about all things hair.
I had several inches cut off my hair, which ended up being the PERFECT length. The color Ashley put on my roots matched my blond hair perfectly! Ashley prepared a card on what she had done so that the next time I came in, she could either do the same thing or tweak it for my preference.
I left the salon looking amazing! however the true testament to a great stylist is if it looks just as good when one styles it themselves at home. And it did!!! Super easy for me to blow out! I have never had so many compliments on my style!
And did I mention the cost? Super affordable! I will be able to have my hair done by a professional every 4 – 6 weeks without breaking the bank!
If you are looking for a new shop or if you are new in town like me, STOP looking fro a new stylist and try Shear Magic. You will not be disappointed.

I had an appointment at 3pm. I was told to go to the shampoo area to have my hair washed. I told them when I booked my appointment and when I wrote down what service I wanted that I was going to get my hair washed, cut and styled. Teresa washed my hair and cut it. She was great with letting me know options and suggestions on what to do about my hair. She passed me to Sadie when her next appointment, three of her family members came in. Sadie took me and dried and styled my hair. She curled it, told her that she didn’t have to since she had a customer waiting for her specifically, but she said if that’s what I wanted then she would do it. Took a long time for my hair to be curled but she was patient and was kind. I would come back here! I will leave pictures. My hair is super thick and long but she did it! Thanks Sadie!

I’ve been coming here since the Clovis location opened and have never been disappointed. Prior to coming here, I was a wondering nomad in search of a new hair person. I had just moved to the Clovis East High School area and was looking for a place close by to replace my barber and luckily found this place. Great cuts, great service, and great prices for fancy shmancy salon (or barer) quality! I usually get my hair did by Fernanda or Sadie, but anyone of them does a great job. I’ve recommended my wife and friends here, and they’ve all been very satisfied with their hair cuts. Also, it’s so cool that they actually give your hair a wash before cutting and it’s no additional charge. I recommend this place for the whole family!

We moved here from Dallas where I absolutely loved my hair salon, and I wasn’t familiar with any stylists in Clovis. Someone mentioned Shear Magic to me and I am so thankful they did. I called on a Sunday at noon and Sadie told me to come in and she would help me. Sadie is excellent, she listened to my concerns, looked over my hair and gave me very good advice. She colored it, cut it and made it look so much healthier. I am so excited to have found a stylist that is fun to talk to and truly cares about her clients!!! This is definitely my new hair salon.

I’m a simple man.
I don’t need a fancy cut or special hair services. Just a simple cut. But HOLY MOTHER OF KING SAUL’S CONCUBINE, this place is awesome.
Ashley was very keen on making me feel comfortable, given that I usually don’t go to salons. Buzz cuts are usually all I do because I’m a simpleton. She started me off with a quick wash of my hair to get out any grease of hair products that could become a problem. Then, instead of just asking me how I wanted my hair to look, she asked me questions regarding how often I get my hair cut, what kinds of people I would need to «clean up» for, etc. which really helped me decided what would be the best option.
Barbers don’t ask you these things, and simpletons don’t think of these things.
Overall, the quality of service is excellent, the facility looks top-​notch, and the stylists are a joy to chat with.

I have been coming to this salon for 2 years with my 3 children who are all different special needs children. I have had an experience with every single one of the stylist at the clovis location and have always had a pleasant experience and quality service. I am shocked to see the negative reviews on here for this place. I hope we don’t have to start as customers signing liability waivers just to have our families hair cut. I enjoy the freedom to be able to choose what I do with my hair or not and where to do it. It is true you can’t please everybody but we as individuals have the choice to accept it for what it is and move forward. It takes less energy to smile than frown and anger will eat people alive like a cancer. It starts small and grows. Life is short. Please don’t judge people by what others perceptions are. Only you can judge a person yourself. God is the only judge I need. Amen and have a wonderfully blessed day.
