I came here the first time 2 years ago and it was very good. I didn’t think the food could get any better but they definitely have perfected their meats and the service is exceptional. Also their price is very reasonable great value. I highly recommend them. Enjoy the Brazilian steak!

It was a little pricy since there were five of us with no children’s menu and we did choose the buffet for all of us which was easily the way to go and more than worth it. We really had a great time, got to try an assortment of great and different foods, had the best service anyone could ask for, the place itself is really nice with a great atmosphere and the people were all extremely friendly. I just wish I had known at the start that I could have asked for the meat to be cooked more on the rare side but while it would have been better that didn’t ruin the evening and dinner for any of us. We will be going back for sure and can easily recommend this place to anyone interested in a great fun dinner in a very nice place.

If your a meat lover you must try a Brazilian Steakhouse. Servers are constantly bringing meat, steak, seafood, children and sausage to your table. You literally have everything thing on the menu. You only get up to serve your side dishes. But it’s endless good. It is pricey but well worth every penny. Food was good. But you definitely need to experience a Brazilian steakhouse if you can find them. I wish they had one in bakersfield.

4.5 stars! Great place, great food, great service. We chose the buffet at $ 34.95 per person. Pricy but truly worth it. Full salad bar, full sides bar and a selection of unlimited different kinds of meat cut right at your table. At least try it once! You’ll be back.

Ok let’s talk about how dry the steak was My husband and I are so disappointed with the meat and the salad bar was super dry you couldn’t eat from the salad it wasn’t fresh My kids ended up eating just salad and ice cream because they were promised chicken but never showed up. Not worth the star or the money or the distance we drove. Overall this place isn’t worth going to. It ruined my weekend

The food was amazing! Let me tell you this, later that day I wanted to go back. This was my first time going and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is bold, beautiful, festive and fun. As we were seated our waiter came right away for drinks and instructed us how the meal would proceed. You start by grabbing your plate, getting all the delicious sides and salad. Then as you return to your seat, flip your sign to green, and the parade of meat begins. My favorites were the Brazilian rice, black beans, beef stroganoff, Parmesan pork and garlic steak; these were the items I went for the most. My boyfriend went for the spicy chicken, pepper steak and tri tip.

Instead of taking a grueling 15 hour flight to Rio De Janeiro to experience the peculiar and noteworthy Brazilian BBQ/steakhouse known as «Rodizio»(pronounced ro-dee-si-o) usually stimulated on Travel Channels. I made my way to Rio Brazilian Grill, which serves a «true» carnivorous Rodizio or an «all you can eat steakhouse, that would even satisfy the meat cravings of T-rex. The all you can eat experience for lunch $ 14.95 or dinner $ 29.95(children L $ 7.95 | D $ 13.95) allows me to enjoy an all you can eat buffet table that features al the side dishes: Brazilian main side dishes such as chicken stroganoff, frijoles negros(black beans), arroz carreteiro(ah-hoyz ka-hay-tay-ro) or truckers rice, grilled vegetables, mashed potatoes, steak fries, fried banana(tucanos), farina(toasted cassava flour mixture), salads, mix bean salads with various dressings, greens, sliced vegetables and etc. These side dishes are set on 2 main island tables. The variety may change during dinner and lunch, as there is a huge price difference. But as for lunch the selection is certainly bountiful. The key side dishes for me is the salad with their dressings and the stroganoff. Despite being known to serve a ravenous carnivorous diet, its also a perfect place to come for vegetarians and vegans, as the restaurant allows patrons to enjoy only the sides and salads option for $ 11.95 lunch and $ 17.95 dinner. The star of the attraction and the draw of this restaurant is of course the endless serving of meat, freshly carved to your table at your request. One of the most impressive aspects of dining at a rodizio restaurant is that it isn’t just one type of meat or cut that is available, but that there are a range of options depending on your taste. For lunch there are 7 selections of meat available that includes chicken, tri-tip, beef filet, pork, grilled pineapple and 3 other choices, while dinner is more lavish with 14 choices. The meats was of course juicy and well seasoned. Because rodizio is a style of dining where I would choose to be served meat that is freshly cut at the table, there is of course a system used. A little wooden tribal block with 3 colors, green side of the block which tells them that the diner would like more meat, or the red side of the block meaning that they do not want any more. Their service was impeccable and friendly at Rio– water in my glass was never dry, while the meats kept coming as long as my block was green. The only negative was the price, which seemed expensive to eat regularly. I would certainly return if I crave the unique ethnic dining experience of a Brazilian steakhouse again.

So. I’m updating my review from a few years ago. I’ve been back a few times since, and each time has been a better experience than the last. And to make matters better, someone must have taken note of the saltiness of the food, because I haven’t had that problem since I wrote my first review! We stopped by again a few weeks ago when we had family in town to entertain. We decided upon this place as my family had never before eaten Brazilian food before. The side dish buffet had excellent variety, drinks were refilled in a timely fashion, ad the meat selections were varied and flavorful. And as an added bonus, we happened to show up on Samba night, and were treated to live dancing! Everyone in my party had a great and memorable time. We will definitely be back!

Personally, I really like this place, even as a vegetarian! Their salad bar is a nice size(not Sweet Tomatoes, but still), and has darker green lettuce options and numerous toppings, including beans, seeds, and the whole veggie«borders» around the buffet). They also have fruit and starches like potatoes and rice on a second buffet, plus some specialty salads and dishes that sound more exotic and are more authentic to Brazil. Whoever said this place isn’t healthy didn’t choose the healthy options; I gorged myself on salad, kidney beans, olives, and watermelon. And they are unlimited, serve-yourself buffets, so no excuses. I did notice they stopped refilling them an hour prior to closing, though. As for the meats, they bring the sizzling skewers right to your table and scrape a portion onto your plate(see video; I asked permission to do a demo). They have spicy chicken thighs(eye-watering peppery), regular chicken drumsticks, pepper steak(better), garlic steak, Parmesan pork, bacon-wrapped chicken cubes, tri-tip, linguisa sausage,…and a few others I can’t remember. My favorites were the drumsticks, linguisa, and garlic steak. The good thing is, these meats are fresh off the rotisserie, so they’ve got a nice crunch and are very juicy. They also bring out P*de*Q balls straight from the oven; they’re a Brazillian cheese bread that’s got a crunchy crust outside and a nice spongey, cheesy center. I ask for three or four. At the end of the round, they bring out roasted pineapple with cinnamon – a perfect dessert for everyone. Vegetarians: if you’re along for the ride, don’t sweat it. This’ll be great. And meat-eaters: welcome to an appetizing sweet haven.

Considering its not LA or Orange County its not bad. The food was good. The service was good. Considering all the others who want Fogo de Chao but don’t realize it’s Clovis, get over it. A good Brazilian restaurant charges way more for the same food and same service. You want more expect to pay more.

Decent food, service was mixed, very overpriced. The different kinds of meat they bring out on skewers are all decent, nothing amazing or anything close that warrants the $ 30 per person price. The girl at the front desk was friendly, but after we were seated we were ignored for 15 minutes and there were maybe 15 people in the restaurant. The waiter who gave us our drink menus never even looked at us until it was time for the check, another waitstaff had to get our drinks. The folks who bring the skewers of different meats were fantastic and I wish the food was on par with their level of service. All in all I’m happy I only paid $ 20 for myself and my wife, total, thanks to a local dealsaver app. Paying $ 60 for the mediocre food and partially good service would have made me angry at a wasted trip out and wasted money. We did tip, hoping it went to the folks who gave us the good portion of our service. I’d return for the price I paid, for the full price I’d never even look at the place. So if you have a coupon check it out, if not then there’s plenty better places nearby for your hard earned cash.

Food was fantastic and hot. I would def tip the guy who kept delivering the meat to us, he did most of the work. Service was slow and the person who was up front gathering menus for a party of 8 did not acknowledge us, not even a hello or welcome or we’ll be right with you. Instead he sat the party of 8 then walked straight to the bar to do something else. We then waited 25 minutes for our check. After our card was ran through, the same guy who didn’t acknowledge us brought our card back without a pen. I scrambled through my purse to look for a pen so I can hurry out of there but couldn’t find one. If someone who doesn’t acknowledge a guest or even smile to a guest; it’s obvious you don’t want to be there.

It’s not my favorite Brazilian Steak House, but when paying for a bunch of kids, it’s definitely good, and a good deal. We don’t eat too much red meat too often but I would definitely do lunch here again. The atmosphere was nice, it’s in a beautiful mall area, there’s outside seating, and the meats are pretty good. I love Filet Mignon, but like almost all Brazilian Steak Houses, this one doesn’t serve it on the lunch menu. There is a limited salad bar, and there were a couple of pasta dishes, of which I liked the red sauce. Worth the trip for a meat-eating baller on a budget.

Excellent service… Friendly, and quick to bring various meat selections, refills of water. Meat selection was excellent… Even for the more limited lunch menu. The salad bar was really good. We loved the pineapple with sugar/cinnamon at the end of the meal.(Women’s restroom was a bit of a disaster — considering the restaurant wasn’t too busy while we were there). Kids pricing is really good.

The majority of my reviews are five stars, and I’m open to pushing that rating higher, but for now, Rio Grill deserves a solid FOURSTARS from me. BOTTOMLINE: I want MOREMEAT! — The food is delicious, the service is always very accommodating, but what’s lacking is the selection of meats. Perhaps it’s that I typically visit the restaurant during daytime hours, and they don’t have as many meats available at that time. Or maybe it’s that I’m always looking for pork and it’s always that spicy chicken that keeps circling. Either way, if Rio Grill were to make their meat selection as widely diverse as their salad and pasta bar, then I’m all in for five stars. Until then, I’ll fill up on carbs and salad.

My husband wanted to take me somewhere special for my birthday. We had talked about trying this place but never got around to it. So, he suggested it. If you’ve never been here before then you need«instructions» on how it works but, oh my goodness, is it amazing! The drinks were awesome, the food was fabulous and the Birthday surprise was off the charts! They put a Brazilian headdress on me and the ice cream had fireworks! I kid you not! The food was phenomenal and the service was attentive and friendly. Genuinely, I am not kidding, this is my new favorite restaurant in town. Wow!

Poor door service and uncomfortable discrimination ruins potentially decent restaurant experience. I knew as I approached a very empty dining room on valtinetines day with a seemingly arrogant hostess standing guard guard that I should’ve just turned around. The time was 1:10 or so i was there to catch lunch then a movie next door all was planned accordingly. As my wife and I enter and I ask for a table for 2 we’re literally stopped mid way to our table and bombarded with flyers in our faces stating the Valentine’s day lunch price would be $ 35 instead the usual $ 15. Then told if we were«sure» we want to dine still. Note, these prices were listed already right outside the door loud and clear on a stand where I just read them and was very closely watched while reading them by the same lady who basically cut me off with flyers on my way to be seated by the waitress. Now if I wasn’t comfortable with these prices why would I proceed inside. Judging from the amount of makeup on «flyer warriors» face I’m assuming she was the Manger Or somthing of importance as she was able to stop us from being seated mid stride and brush our waitress off with ease. So now I’m thinking is it the rags I’m wearing that is cause for this obvious discrimination or misconception that my money wouldn’t be green enough to pay the bill or I couldn’t afford it? By rags I mean a plaid shirt and my wife a beautiful new valtinetines day red spring dress? I didn’t know what to think but I just seen a couple walk in right before us without being literally stopped and asked«are you sure you want to dine». Of course were sure why else would we walk in ask for a table. Long story short I took my horrid money elsewhere purchased a beautiful guess what $ 35 steak«oh my how did I afford such a luxurious item». Also the steak might have been the best steak of my life couldn’t even finish the 1lb monster simply perfect(Cool hand Lukes has killer steaks). Anyways the evening was saved and we still caught our movie despite the hiccup. Absolutely will never go back I’m sure not everyone has had such a negative experience as I have and I hope you never do either.

Today(1÷24÷15) we made reservations for 8(6 teens) — just 20 minutes before coming to eat. We were seated and served drinks immediately. I think the buffet tables are perfect for size and variety. And everything I ate was scrumptious. The pastas are great the sauces are flavorful. And I didn’t even make it to the cold salad table. Because it’s really all about the meat. The meat comes hot and fresh to the table and you have as much or little as you want. The Tri tip was the best I’ve ever eaten. The steak is cooked medium(pretty red inside) — there was pepper steak, garlic steak, spicy chicken, chicken legs, Parmesan pork. And some others I couldn’t eat cause I was stuffed. Servers filled our drinks and plates continually. We had a Great time

Nothing wrong with a high-quality churrascaria. The meats are juicy and flavorful, the buffet is a great supplement(I find myself having to be very selective so I have plenty of room for the steaks), and where else in Fresno can I get a Guarana? The service is consistently very friendly, and I like eating here. I don’t care for the location — essentially completely across town from me, and I always hate parking and traffic at the mall(any mall) — and the price point is hardly conducive to convenience. This is definitely a destination dine, but a great one.
