Red Lobster

All I can say is «It’s Red Lobster «. Good service and food. Always enjoy the all you can eat shrimps do biscuits.

It was alright. i was craving a surf n turf. I like the sauce they put on top of the steak.
Service was exceptional the broccoli was a bit overcooked and from several locations around the country, i felt the lobster and its crab stuffing was a little inconsistent. Perhaps the cook was having a bad day.
I also ordered the lobster n crab stuffed mushrooms, the butter n cheese helped to mask the age as I felt the Seafood side was a bit lacking. All in all it was edible but a few bars down from other locations.
The store was clean, didn’t notice any distasteful smells. Business was a little less packed at this location than I’m used to seeing as well.

My husband and I decided to have a 5 pm dinner and drinks here, after a long day of traveling. We had our usual dinner order for us, of a few appetizers and a drink. After our second drink each, our waitress, Marissa asked us if we wanted desserts, which we declined and ordered another drink (wine/​rum drink, called a Hurricane). We had been quietly enjoying relaxing and getting our next several days lodgings booked while in our corner booth… Marissa then brought out our ticket and stood, expectantly, as if she was leaving and needed to close out, which sometimes does happen if shifts overlap. Long story short, if you want to have more than 4 glasses of wine in Clovis, order a bottle, because, they are not allowed to serve you more than 4 individual drinks, without calling the manager, which our waitress, Marissa was VERY clear about. Needless to say, although we are the mildest 50-​something couple you could imagine, it ruined my night. It also changes any and all route plans in the future to avoid this town, which made us feel discriminated against. PS-​as we drove out of the parking lot… guess who was behind the building — our waitress, her manager and several others, smoking cigarettes.

I’ve been to other Red Lobster locations a few times in my life… This location has nothing positive except the cheddar bay biscuits. I will leave it at that.

The wait staff and service are acceptional. The food was cooked and arrived hot. The manager came by and asked how service was (good as always). The asparagus was probably cooked a little to hot on the grill, but not badly enough to return.
Why the three rating? The carpet smelled awful. I can’t descibe the smell other than heavy oil (from butter?) has been forced into the carpet. I could smell the carpet from the hostess stand. I was grateful that my husband and I were seated at the back of the dining room, because I think it sees less traffic. I don’t recall this the last time I went (it’s been a couple months), but I’m leary of returning any time soon.

Positively the worst Red Lobster I’ve ever been to. Ordered coconut shrimp and blackened shrimp scampi with steamed broccoli. The coconut shrimp was fine but the shrimp scampi was disgustingly salted. Blackened does not mean obscenely salted. So I thought, I have at least got steamed broccoli to satiate my appetite and it was also covered in a salted substance that was not butter. Lastly the cheese biscuits, that are the staple of Red Lobster, had so much salt on the outside of them that my children wouldn’t even eat them. It is a heart attack waiting to happen, this place needs a new and fresh perspective. I have a great blackened recipe if you would like it. Another waste of money in Clovis. I feel I should say the service was fine.

Just ok… I’ve always wanted to try Red Lobster. Maybe I built it up too much. The food was tasty but underwhelming. I had the Maine Lobster Bake. The décor is dark and aging. There must have been a large party in before me as there was a lot of mess and guys cleaning it up… Bit irritating.

It’s ok, nothing spectacular, but nothing horrible either.
I go every now and then. My favorite is the ultimate feast. If you’re going definitely look into that.

The food was good, but the service was pretty slow for being early evening during the week. Also, the draft beer I received was on the cool side of room temp and a bit flat.

Haven’t had Red Lobster in a few years due to the direction it was headed and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was good, our server was awesome and the price was fair. I believe it’s the best place to eat in Clovis, NM for the price.

Traveling through Clovis, NM last night at the end of a two week long driving vacation. We needed «not fast food». Saw Red Lobster. The wait staff was very engaging, attentive and well trained. They kept the glasses full, food was delivered promptly, and they did an excellent job. The food was delicious — but that is to be expected of Red Lobster which I have always enjoyed. The general manager stopped by, talked a moment and made sure everything was good. If this is how his staff functions every night he should be proud.
I was checking Unilocal this morning and saw they only had three stars? It was based on old reviews. Maybe they have new management, different wait staff, or have just upped their game. But from what I saw last night they deserve better.

Considering this is one of the «nice’ places to go to in Clovis, I enjoy it. It’s a typical red lobster as far as food, but the building is quite small in comparison, they did remodel which is better then before, a lot more open and spacious. Love the sweet chili shrimp appetizer and the new mussels! I was actually the first one to order the mussels they said and wanted to know what I thought. I can’t wait to go back and get it again.

When in Clovis, NM one has a challenge to find a good dinner — should one want to eat something other than Mexican food. RL is reliable — decent food at a decent price.
