A great little local establishment. It’s a shame there aren’t more places like this in Clovis. To caveat this review, this is definitely not a swanky upscale restaurant, but what it lacks in ambience it makes up for in food. I got chopped brisket, pulled pork, tots and beans. The meat was excellent, tender but not too fatty. Sauce was tangy and sweet, not as smoky or spicy as I was expecting from a NM bbq joint. Tots were fried to crispy perfection but the beans were a bit bland. Overall a good meal, topped off with a little Blue Bell for dessert.

Don’t let the exterior fool you… This place is awesome! It’s tucked away in a neighborhood next to an elementary school so it’s easy to miss but it’s worth it. It has a very down home feel and the staff is super nice. All the meat is fresh (even the burgers are ground in house!) and the prices are super reasonable. We got our food quickly and our drinks were never empty. I will definitely be coming back!

Prime rib special on Fridays is the best in town. Plus they have a BlueBell ice cream counter wither every flavor imaginable. Owners are really sweet and the service is amazing. A true mom and pop restaurant with the best of a small town feel.

This place is excellent! Owner is as nice as can be and food made Fresh as ordered! Will be going for prime rib Friday!
