Paradise Market

Good food, coffee, and gelato, but sadly they are no longer open. They closed down permanently.

I like shopping there nice and clean nice open I’ll watch the different brands and unusual brands and you can get what you want fast and easy price is a little higher but worth it

So Paradise Market is Clovis’ homegrown version of a Whole Foods. Expect slightly higher prices than Albertson’s but not quite the same organic selection you’d find at a Whole Foods. This review, however, is not primarily about the grocery experience. I don’t regularly shop here because almost everything they offer is sold at WalMart for less (except their local, organic honey).
Where Paradise Market really shines is with its café, particularly its gelato. My wife and I will indulge ourselves here after a hard week’s work or a long, intense swim/​run. They rotate eight flavors and let me say, almost all of them will knock your socks off. They make all the gelato themselves – they’ve sent one of their folks to some fancy gelato school in California. I’d guess he aced his final exam, especially if that’s where he invented the ‘Lemon Basil’, my favorite flavor thus far. You can order a scoop and eat in. Or, if you are really feeling gluttonous, you can get a pint to-​go. Either way, make sure to grab a punch card and start working your way towards that tenth, free serving. Because once you try it, I have no doubt you will want to venture back for more.

Hooked me up with a gluten/​dairy free breakfast burrito and an excellent coffee with coconut milk. An oasis. Yum. Very nice folks.

Wow, what a rip off. I don’t know how this place got such good reviews. Only a few specialty items and what they were trying to charge for them was beyond ridiculous. More than half of the stuff in this store you can find right down the road at Albertsons for a lot cheaper. I am not a local by the way, so I know what a rip off is when I see it. The cost of living is ridiculous enough as it is over here, don’t waste your hard earned money in this store.

Fantastic service! Wonderful catering! Bill and Rhonda have such big hearts and continually go above and beyond to ensure their customers’ happiness. Great community supporters as well!

I’m sorry but I just can’t. On many occasions I’ve spoken with Bill just as a friendly conversation and he’s extremely rude. If you’re a real chef (not just a basic «foodie») you’re not going to like this place either.
You sell something gluten free? Wow, so you must market yourself as gourmet. Brie and over priced jarred curry sauce? Honey we can get that at Walmart almost half the price. The four things you have that walmart doesn’t? Salmon roe, duck fat, truffle oil and kombucha… I’ll drive to Lubbock for those due to y’alls customer service. Deli counter is horrid and I’d just avoid bill and his wife. And please stop being so desperate and posting your ads in non restaurant sections in the paper! Let your service speak for itself! Stop lying!

Store with heart. Paradise it is. Nice people, good selection of meats, deli is awesome and their catering is wonderful for any occasion! They are now a full service grocery store. They also have glutton free and organic products, for thos with special requests. Great gelatos and coffee. Check it out you will enjoy.

The grocery store is cool for finding things you won’t find at other places in town. Their rotisserie chickens and their deli are what makes this place AMAZING. Also, the meat dept has done things like shish-​kabobs or special cuts of meat upon request. Plus, they even have sandwiches and coffees and a few tables where you can sit and eat.

So nice to have the specialty items — prices might b a little high but I’m sure it’s not easy to get these products in small quantities. I don’t mind the prices — cheaper than me driving to Lubbock. Very friendly and helpful. Hope this market is around for a very long time.

Really friendly, well-​stocked natural foods store. Good beef selection in the butcher shop, very reasonably priced. Everything else is a bit pricey. Clean, well-​staffed, and interesting.

I really like Paradise Market. I have been there a couple of times a month for the last year, and I really enjoy that they can get things that not every one else can get. I like their meat and dairy sections the best. They also have lunch out of their deli that is awesome and homemade. The best things I have had from their deli is the beef brisket. YUM!
My only complaint for this lovely little place is that some times they run out of stuff and being in Clovis it takes a while to get it in. Overall, I really enjoy Paradise Market and the staff could not be nicer!

Nice little store. Plenty of gluten free items, if that’s what you need. Military discounts on the 1^st and 15^th. Excellent gelato and fresh meats, fish and veggies.

A little on the pricey side, but great place to go for organic, vegan, gluten free or sugar free products. Staff is extremely friendly and polite. Great selection of dairy free milk, yogurt, butter, sour cream & cream cheese.

Love this market. It is like a Whole Foods market. All the quirky stuff you are looking for you will find here !

A much needed specialty grocery store for Clovis. Lots of selection. Anything to skip going into Walmart every now and again. Have not tried any of the freshly prepared selections. Have picked up lots of Indian dinners I have grown to like living in the city. Prices can be high, but that is what you pay for the extra convenience and selection.

Carries goodbelly and a lot of non organic items so that you dont have to make 2 stops when you grocery shop. Large selection of gluten free items.
