Miss Kitty’s Lounge

Went there the other night and asked the bartender if she could call me a cab. She told me to use my cell phone. What she didn’t know was that my cell phone had no charge. I asked her again to please call me a cab and she flat out refused. Another patron was nice enough to call me a cab, however that’s not how you treat customers. I will not be going back!

Love this place! Great, friendly bartenders. A comfortable environment. Everything is kept clean. Fighting and inappropriate behavior not tolerated. Such a large variety of people come in.

An incredible place. The bartenders are a little bit of heaven. If I could sleep there I definitely would.

My boyfriend and I where looking for a different place to go to and have a drink. I found miss kitty’s and we were amazed. The environment and the décor of this bar was so amazing. The service was good as well as the beers here. It’s really a good place to go.

Sooooo… This place is open past midnight. The bartenders are great. The regulars kick-​ass. Ask for Trevor, he’ll buy you a drink. The pool table has extra balls. The kareoke is sooooooo bad it’s good. Nicole (bartender) is the best!!!

This place is a conundrum. I can’t tell if the owners care about their business or not.
I get that you want to hire cute young girls to be bartenders, but what I don’t understand is that for a place that claims to be «female friendly» you don’t hire security on the weekends to protect your own female employee’s. Combine no security with those blacked out windows and I can’t imagine any female being truly comfortable in that place. Which could explain why it’s usually a sausage fest. Putting a Bettie Page poster up or having «pastel colors» doesn’t make you female friendly, just like putting in a few couches doesn’t make you a «lounge».
You want to filter all rap and hip-​hop off your jukebox to filter out «that» crowd, but by not having a bouncer you’re allowing a whole new kind of bad crowd. One that recognizes there is no security and will take advantage of it by trying to do things like sneak minors in when it’s busy, doing drugs in the bathroom or causing problems in general.
My 2 cents: Change the name (it’s off putting to most females), take out all the Me N’ Ed’s booths, tint the windows (don’t black them out), hire security and maybe hire a guy bartender for Friday and Saturday nights to work with a female. Women like to go to bars too to check out hot bartenders. If women go in, it usually means more guys will go in and business will go up. You’ve got a great location and the fact that your open late is a huge plus. I think this place has the potential to be really profitable.

The size of the bar is a decent size. The layout is very open and that is appreciated in a bar environment. The windows walking up are all blacked out though… that’s odd… The beer and drink prices are average. I’ve visited this place three times and haven’t heard of any drink specials ever going on… The crowd is a good mix. If you’re single or coupled you’ll fit in nicely here. The age is pretty diverse as well.
All in all it is pretty good bar.

The stinky kitty is what this place should be called… great selection of liquor not so much beer. Me n Ed’s converted to a bar so the seating doesn’t make you feel like you are in bar. Love the pool table and music box. Bartender was too busy working her tips but I don’t blame her people from all walks of life here as well so that’s always a bonus

The problem I have with this bar is the windows are COMPLETELY blacked out and painted. If I left here, by myself and something happened outside to me, NOBODY would see it. I get its a city ordnance for people, children and such, not to see in, however, very dangerous for people not to see out. I will follow by saying the staff is nice and they have a good selection of flavored vodkas.

Another stop on mine and my hubby’s staycation! Clean, nice, not pretentious nor trashy. At least on a Wednesday night. This is right up the street from our home… So it’s a great place for hubby and I to pretend like we are dating again. :) drinks are reasonably priced… Come and relax, have a drink, and expect to just be in your own skin without judgement. Just leave me and hubby alone… We are busy falling in love all over again.

Change the name and add more TVs for people that don’t stare at the bartenders chest.

Excellent location great ambiance! Pictures of Marilyn Monroe and others make the place a classic venue to enjoy a drink after work. I would recommend this bar to all my friends. The pastel colors throughout the bar make it very friendly to women. Maybe a little to friendly but that’s the desired and intended market of the owner. Overall an excellent establishment for all.

This isn’t a lounge but a trashy bar. Three of us women wanted to visit the place because we read in the newspaper when it opened that it catered to women. Well it doesn’t. We walked in and sat at the bar and looked around and left within 5 minutes. It’s tacky and has a cold feeling. Pool table in center of room and some booths around the walls. Pictures on wall are what you would find in a men’s bar… tasteless and offensive. Whoever thought this would cater to women doesn’t know what they are talking about and certainly didn’t do their research and marketing. This isn’t a lounge nor does it cater to women-​maybe trashy women. Actually there were only men there when we arrived. Owners need to check out Cuvée in the tower. That’s a lounge with intimate comfortable couches, chairs and decorated fashionably.

Great hang out. Cold beer, nice choices on tap and good prices. Good music and a nice, mixed crowd. Enjoyed our time here.

Well ok it’s a 5 star bar if you like trashy dive bars with a mix of individuals from all walks of life. This is not your Northside Fresno kind of place, but I would give it a try if you want friendly bar backs and a little craziness.
