I came to Michelle on a referral from a friend. I am from San Jose and drove down to Clovis to meet with her 15 months before my wedding date. Michelle was always super nice and we signed a contract with her for our invites and save the dates. Michelle suggested that we wait until our RSVPs come back to do any contract for escort cards and table numbers(THANKGOD!). Flash forward to 10 months later… I emailed Michelle to discuss invites, no response… I emailed her again to see if she got my email, no response. This went on for about five emails when she finally emailed me back saying she was busy and got all my emails just never responded… ummm…COOL thanks for at least being honest. I told her what I wanted and when I was looking to send them out, she said it was do-able and she would start working on them. Two months go by, then the date I asked for them came and went, still nothing. I emailed her three times before I even got to see a sign of life from her. When she responded she said she had no idea I wanted to send them out«so early». By this time it’s past three months until my wedding and I still have nothing in my hands. I was starting to design my own invites on online invitation sites, I was pretty sure she wasn’t going to send my invites in time. Come to find out a couple of my other friends had the same problem with Michelle. Anyways she finally sent the invites to me… they were beautiful, I won’t deny her that she has talent. HOWEVER talent cannot make up for being a bad business owner and completely going MIA because she was«busy.». I understand she has a regular job, but if you are providing a service for anything you should be on top of your communication. Not only was she horrible at communication but of course she sends the final bill within seconds of the FedEx delivery of my invites to my house(great communication there, of course). She also charged me $ 55 for overnight delivery of my invites… UMMMMWHAT. I send out packages all across the world for my job, the five pound package to Russia wasn’t even $ 55 with FedEx… talk about ridiculousness. In the end I was happy with the product but if I had known it would be such a freaking headache I would have never gone with her. Needless to say I will not be using her for the rest of my paper products for my wedding. Michelle is not worth the stress and the time, find someone else who is slightly less brilliant in designs but has their shit together.
