Dry Cleaning by Martinizing

I was a regular customer; no more. Too many run ins with abrupt and rude staff. One lady argued with me over how they have been doing my laundry; she threw up her hands said whatever and walked away from me. Spending $ 150 per month I expect better service. The younger woman is nice and always greeted me by name and the older woman who does alterations is nice too.
Why 2 stars? Because they do clean well. They cannot do light starch though… only none or cardboard. Also a little pricey and no loyalty pricing.
Lastly, and this actually bothered me a lot… I would walk in and smell smoke. They smoke out back but leave the door open so when you walk in the front it blows through he whole place. Handling other people’s clothes they should be more sensitive to that.

Worst place ever.
I had a $ 300 two piece ivory suit that I only wore one time. I dropped off the jacket to be cleaned and when I picked it up, it was this awful tan ugly color. When I brought it to their attention they proceeded to tell me that’s how I dropped it off.
I returned later that day with the pants to the suit, to prove to them, that’s not the original color. Not to mention they also left water stains in my jacket. When they tried to get the water stains out, the machine they used left grease spots on my jacket.
So I started to look up the process on how dry cleaning works and as it turns out they do have water in the machines that clean the clothes and they are suppose to change it out. However they dont, so you can guess it right they clean our clothes and everyone else’s in the same water as farmer Johns dirty shirt water.
They refused to pay for the damages and my suit was total ruined.

Silly me for coming here b/​c I had a 30% off coupon. Brought our comforter here, along with some other items, to get cleaned during the summer since we don’t really miss it. I first got ticked b/​c when I went to pick everything up, they didn’t give me the 30% off. They said that the coupon didn’t apply to household goods. (If this is the case, why didn’t the young woman taking my order and coupon initially tell me this BEFORE I left my items?) I recall the coupon saying it was for drycleaning, which is what I had done. I don’t remember there being any exclusions listed on it. Can’t say for sure b/​c they destroyed the coupon so I couldn’t refer back to it.
We didn’t need the comforter right away since it was still hot out, so I set it aside to air out. Once it got cool enough to put back on our bed, I noticed that they didn’t even get the stains out! There are still water lines in two spots. My fault for not checking right away, but I’ve never had a problem with stain removal at any drycleaners.
Lesson learned. I will bring our drycleaning elsewhere, even if it means paying more.

Courteous staff. They catch every little stain on your garments. Always ready next-​day. Has a drop off slot for after-​hours. Buy their laundry bag for $ 10 and everything in it is 10% off.
