Of all of the Bath and Body Works stores in the Fresno Clovis area this one is the best but that is not much of a compliment. If you have a question and you asked three different employees the same question you will get three different answers which is sad. The employees are not knowledgeable and on my most recent trip I had a return that went to a store merchandise credit somehow the credit ended up missing even though I did not make a purchase. I did not find out until I tried to use my card I reviewed my receipt and it said that my merchandise card was redeemed for cash which i did not receive. I put in a complaint to the corporate store and their loss prevention said they were going to look into it to see if the employee possibly stole it.

I’ve been shopping at this paticular location for years and years and have never had a problem. The store itself is always tidy and organized and all of employees have always been pleasant and more than helpful. I’m always acknowledged! However, if for some reason I’m not the only shopper in the store and the employees are helping other customers, I feel comfortable speaking up and asking for assistance! Nothing but good things to say about this store!

I was very surprised by the total lack of service that I received last night. Usually there is a greeter at the front of the store ready to hand you a shopping bag and offer help with finding whatever you need but not tonight. There were no customers in the store when I walked in and no one to help on the sales floor at all. I did finally see two people standing behind the cash register talking loudly and laughing but of course I didn’t even get a simple«Hello» or any acknowledgement at all that they even saw me which I know they did! They continued to stand behind the register and talk while I walked the whole store feeling like I was invisible. I would have left but the only reason I drove to the mall at all was for one particular item that I really needed. If not for that I would’ve left without buying anything. I was fine with them totally ignoring me until a few more people came in and they then decided to stop talking to eachother and actually do their jobs. Of course they chose to help the older customers and keep totally ignoring me. The lady working was finally at the front of the store but still chose to act like she didn’t see me but was very nice to the new customers. The gentleman started picking up fragrance testers and walked right by me a few times but still chose to never acknowledge me or offer help or even a bag. I guess he didn’t notice that I had my arms full of products. I was giving them a chance to redeem themselves and offer me a bag but it never happened. Which was good for me because I would’ve picked up more stuff. I was never acknowledged until I went to the cash register to pay and even then the gentleman seemed annoyed that he had to actually work and wasn’t very friendly at all. I wonder what happened to all the nice, friendly people who used to always say hello and offer help as soon as you walked in. Bring them back!!! They knew how to give great customer service instead of making customers feel like they were interrupting a private conversation when they need a little help. A simple smile would have made the situation better but even that was too much to ask. These two people sucked big time!!! The gentleman at the register seemed very annoyed when another customer came in for her«free gift» and didn’t purchase anything. If you don’t want to give away«free gifts» then stop sending out the darn coupons or at least be professional and hide your annoyance. Maybe you would make your daily sales goal if you actually tried to sell and work for it instead of hiding behind the cash register and expecting people to come in and buy. I was very disappointed by the lack of service and the awful treatment given by these two people. Not only did they ignore me but a few other customers as well. They only chose to help a few select customers who didn’t even end up buying and walked out empty handed. Next time I will order online instead because I know I will get better customer service from a computer.
