No Name is Heavenly, but I’ll stick with calling it No Name so it’s less conspicuous and easier to book a stay. If you have any reason for a group get-together and have a vice for vino, consider No Name as your Wine Country guesthouse. It’s not a resort per se, but rather a large home in the Alexander Valley on a dead-end lane. The house is beautiful, has several bedrooms, a studio-like apartment below, and a pool and hot tub. Every window affords a picture postcard view of vineyards, blue skies, and purple mountains, with Mount St. Helena proudly standing in the background. No Name was the perfect venue for my femme family weekend with my mother, sister, and aunts who were visiting. Wineries abound in each direction, and for those sober moments cycling is great along Chalk Hill Road. Sitting in the sun, poolside with a glass of Hanna wine is equally as glorious. It may not have a name, but it’s got everything else you need for a perfect getaway. What’s in a name, anyway?
