Worth venturing off the main drag for! Extremely friendly service, reliably good food and for a great price. The kind of place you can only find in a small town. Can’t go wrong with any meal, but I especially like the Friday night fish fry.

I guess I’m a little biased as this place is within walking distance of my house. The food is good though and the prices are reasonable. I’ve never had a bad meal there and the cheeseburger is better than any you’ll find in any fast food joint. The desserts are excellent as well.

I came here because I asked a local guy in a fuel station where a great place to eat was. He told me to come here. This place is in the middle of nowhere, off the main road in Clinton, and in the middle of a neighborhood. I wish I’d taken a picture of the front — I drove past it 4 times trying to find it. I ate breakfast once. The friendly old ladies behind the counter suggested I just go with ONE biscuit, ham, and eggs rather than the TWO I had ordered, as she remarked that I must not have eaten there before. The biscuit was almost the size of both of my fists. Breakfast was decent. The sheriff in the corner kept staring at me. This is clearly a locals joint. Then I came back that week for lunch. The cheeseburger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It wasn’t anything crazy or special — just meaty, juicy, and tasty. I was blown away. Really. And I’m judgmental about cheeseburgers. Then I had a slice of pie as big as my face. Incredibly friendly. Incredibly tasty. If you’re driving through Clinton for some reason, make sure you swing by for a bite. You won’t regret it. Cross my heart and hope to die.
