Drive thru line was ridiculously long… wrapped around the building! This was around 930AM on the Sunday after Christmas. After waiting for 5 minutes without seeing the line move, I got out of line and hit the road. No idea how fast… Errrr. Slow things were moving inside.

I am so disappointed in this Starbucks. I can remember a time when you would visit this location and you always had the same employees serving you who actually looked like they enjoyed their job and each other. NOW every time I visit here the employees are rude and act like you’re inconveniencing them by ordering. They’re getting orders wrong and act very stressed out. There’s no doubt that they get busy especially this time of year but it’s just very disheartening to see service go down like this. Whomever is managing this location now PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE help your employees enjoy their jobs because THEY are your most important asset– even before your customers.

Horrible parking lot set up. Good luck backing out of your spot if there are people in line for the drive-thru. They played Christmas music inside, which was nice. You’d think they’d stay open a little later being that they’re close to Mississippi College.

I was in the drive thru for at least 15 minutes and it was only three cars deep. I don’t know why they were so slow, but this has happened to be in the past at the same location. I am giving them three stars because my iced coffee was made correctly and tasted pretty good. However, I almost changed my mind about my order because I was frustrated after waiting so long.

Extremely poor customer service at drive thru. Parking lot was half full but the employee’s excuse was«We get busy,» which was a bold lie that I called him out on. Not to mention they did not get my order correct.

Sometimes great, sometimes ehhh. The lines are ridiculous in the morning but it is okay — sometimes! Lol

Not impressed. Went in one morning and employees were eating behind the counter. Husband told me not to be mean coz people have to eat. Quality of drinks is pretty inconsistent.

They had a very long line at the drive thru but it was to cold to go inside so I waited in the line. I was happy that it moved fast. My only issue here is the parking. It just doesn’t exist. This is a great location because it’s off the interstate so it’s easy to just get right off i-20 and head over there.

The employees were nice and fast. No complaint there. BUT Salted caramel drink was all sugar, makes you feel sick half way through. Tasted like 4 packs of hot chocolate mix with 12 pumps of caramel syrup. Apple fritter was terrible. No apple flavor, very stale, bad texture. You could get it fresher from a vending machine. Internet was too slow to even check email.

If there has ever been an «eek!» review on Unilocal, this is it. While standing at the counter at this Starbucks, I saw not one but two cockroaches on the floor in the food prep area! I pointed them out to the barista and she chuckled and said, «Well, this IS Mississippi!» Ew. Walked right out.

This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations anywhere. Definitely top of the list of the Jackson area. The baristas are always friendly and my drink is always right. The best part is that it is just so convenient. It’s right off I-20. You take the exit and you’re there. My parents live in Clinton, so it is also convenient when I’m visiting them and I need a quick caffeine fix. Consistency is very important to me, especially when it comes to my coffee beverages. This is one of the few Starbucks that I’ve been to on a semi-regular basis that has yet to let me down.

This random Starbucks in Clinton, MS is a welcome sight for sore eyes… eyes made sore from driving through the endless terrain of boringness that is western Mississippi. I drive a lot from New Orleans to Monroe, LA, and always stop at this location. The service is always good and the product quality is typical Starbucks. BOTTOMLINE: A very well situated Starbucks.

Decent Starbucks… convenient for travelers along I-20. On our trips from Dallas to NC and back, this location is a regular stop for us. Everything you come to expect from a Starbucks.

I use to frequent this Starbucks almost daily, but now they have such horrible service that I avoid them. Worst Starbucks ever.

If you like Starbucks coffee, this is a good place to go. The customer service is great, and there are usually at least a few empty tables. The staff is always good about answering any questions you might have, and I know, because I usually bombard them with a few dozen. If someone doesn’t know the answer, the question will get passed around the staff until it finds someone who does. They’re also very nice about giving free samples if you can’t quite figure out the taste of something based on a description. While I really like this coffee shop and used to go to it a lot when I was working in Clinton, there are a few things you should know about it if you decide to go: 1) The wireless service is pretty good at most of the tables, but if you need to use it, stay out of the back corner(the one NOT next to the windows). Several times, I’ve chosen a seat back there and not been able to connect. 2) There are usually plenty of tables to sit at, but occasionally, the place will be crowded and there will be nowhere to sit. There is another coffee shop in town, Cups, and sometimes it’s not as crowded as the Starbucks. I also recommend going to Cups if you’re looking for a coffee shop but don’t like Starbucks coffee.

Was at this Starbucks tonight. Not typical of Starbucks at all. The barista at the drive thru was eating McDonald’s french fries while prepping drinks. There was a barista asleep at one of the tables. Two baristas were arguing over the proper way to argue via text messaging(using ALLCAPS). I had to stand there for about 30 seconds waiting for them wrap up their debate before I could order. My wife ordered an Americano with breve. Rather than steaming the milk, the barista poured cold cream into the coffee cooling down the coffee… still got charged for breve though. The café had about 4 people inside(moderately slow). Yet tables were littered with used plates and stirrers. I’m sure this is usually a good starbucks(the space is a great design). But, tonight, it was lacking on every other level.

This is my «home-town» Starbucks, and even if you don’t come here often, the folks working here treat you as if you do. For me, when it comes to «chain» establishments with set menus, offerings, etc., it’s all about the customer service. Even when these folks are being slammed with customer orders, they are always friendly and smiling. One tip – if you are pulling a trailer, even a small one, DONOT enter the parking lot. It is small and you will not be able to turn around, or go through the drive-thru. Instead, if you are pulling a trailer, park in the shopping center parking lot and walk the 75 or so yards. The customers, employees, and the Clinton police department, will be appreciative.
