Always amazing food, definitely the best place to get a good meal in Clinton. Great people too!

Yum! Came here hungry and looking for a delicious diner breakfast and that’s exactly what we got. Ordered some dirty monkey pancakes(they come with bananas and chocolate chips in them) which had a side of breakfast potatoes, bacon and toast. My fiancé ordered the sausage biscuits and gravy and some hash, all of which was delicious. It’s a small place, crowded in the mornings for breakfast but the food is delicious, cheap and hot. What more could you ask for?

My spouse and I just came from lou’s diner. We had an excellent lunch. My spouse got a pastrami and cheese sandwich with french fries and I got a meatball sub with an apple pie for dessert. The prices and portion amounts we’re right on par. They do take credit /debit cards an extra fee of 50 cents. There were a lot of locals with some nice chit chat to pass the time. One of them explained to me that Lou’s diner has a great catering service and is very reasonably priced. I did see a van loading up food or unloading food in the back of the restaurant but I do not recall the name of the catering service. It starts with a T. The diner was very clean, well lit and comfortable. My spouse and I are very excited to have found a local diner to have the occasional breakfast or lunch.

Excellent breakfast; my go-to diner. Great workers, and good prices. Highly recommend if you want a good breakfast.

Completely underrated. This is what most diners were historically like and how they should be. Great food, reasonable prices, small, clean and fast.

Arrived here and had some trouble finding a spot to park. I ended up finding one, in a lot, behind a gas station 100 yds. away. Cute little place transplanted here in 1963, It is in very good condition. Only 11 stools at the counter and 3 small booths for seating. The” booths“are only large enough for one on each side and if you have any girth to you, you better consider the counter. It’s seems to be a local hang out for the early morning blue collar crowd and was a tiny bit loud. The menu is very basic, with a special or two on the wall. Ordered the standard ham and eggs and it was okay, nothing special, not great and not bad either. Didn’t care at all for the homefries, they were kinda dry and tastless. The coffee was very good. I struck up a nice conversation with one of the guys at the counter and enjoyed that. A couple of guys came in and seated themselves in a booth and were just totally ignored by the staff(wich consisted of only one).He was just standing in the corner playing with his phone. with nothing to do. I thought that they were about to leave when finally, one of the locals at the counter, asked if they wanted coffee and yelled it to the kid behind the counter to get them some coffee. Beautiful diner but poor service and only mediocre food at best. Don’t forget the lousy parking also. Really 2 stars, but I love the building so I’ll give it 3…

2.89 stars This is a very small diner with the classic look and feel. The counter is probably your best bet as the booths are quite slim. There is no parking. I pulled my car up along side, up on the curb. Your meal is cooked right in front of you, there is an open grill. You place your oder directly with the cook. The food is better than decent and the prices are quite reasonable. French Toast and Pancakes had a homemade taste. The home fries and the link sausages were winners. * possess a certain undeniable charm * saying this is a Townie place is an understatement. * not kidding no real parking. * cash only

Solid diner… but the best fries I’ve had in New England. Crispy on the outside, fluffy within. The Platonic ideal of a french fry.
