New Oakland Child-Adolescent & Family Center

We had to use this place after an emergency happened with our child. My child has been in the FACES program for 5 days now and there is a world of a difference. I did not give 5 stars because we haven’t started outpatient weekly therapy and I have read bad reviews on that. As of now though, therapist Tracy is AMAZING and a very kind and caring person. I will re-​review once we’ve gone through weekly therapy for a while and give my opinion then. I do recommend them for children and their FACES program for major problems in the child’s life that can be corrected through intensive therapy. Our insurance is covering 100% at this point so that is another massive bonus.
UPDATE: my son had an amazing therapist just out of the program to start weekly therapy. After two visits she called to say she would be leaving the clinic. We were placed with another therapist who took 10 days to call and make and appt and for the first visit only had him in there for 30 mins to review his file and update his treatment plan. Next appt was scheduled for one wk later and she cancelled it at 8pm the night before due to car trouble. Not took a full 4 days before she called to reschedule and that appt was for 2 wks later. (Now three wks have gone by with no active therapy). At this appt she spent another 30 mins just going over the plan with no actual therapy. I knew this was not okay with us because he needed the wkly or bi-​wkly therapy. I contacted his peds dr and we started searching for a new place that was not all about the medicine. We are currently at Eastwood Clinic in Clinton Twp and love it.
