If there was a negative star I would be selecting that. There are hardly words for this terrible experience. My appointment time was 9 a.m.on a Saturday, she wasn't even open. We spent the time waiting by walking our dog up and down the steet. My labradoodle went from big, fluffy, and yes matted, to 100% bald! Not only is his skin completely visible, but he does not even resemble a labradoodle but more like a greyhound or whippet! The owner was extremely rude, unprofessional, and clearly has no compassion for dogs! She stated that my dog was "horrible" and tried to bite her when trimming his feet. He is exactly 1 yr old and the most loveable and friendly dog to everyone, including strangers. If he did try to bite her ... THEN CLEARLY HE IS A GOOD JUDGE IN CHARACTER! He will not stop shaking and traumatized from this experience.

Don’t waste your time on this place! I was referred by a friend, and even that didn’t help! I called at 10:45 am on a Tuesday morning for a grooming appt. left a voice mail, and didn’t get a return phone call till 4:30 that afternoon! So much for getting a grooming that day! She left me a message… without any remorse for the late response … Saying she would call me back in the morning. Well, that was Tuesday afternoon… it is now Thursday morning, almost noon and no call yet. I guess this is one small business that has enough customers! I will find one that needs and wants my business, but it certainly won’t be this one! Can’t post without a star… it should be no stars!

First call to set up an appointment… called no one picks up, I get the answering machine. I leave a message to set appointment… She calls back she leaves me a message not understanding what I needed from her. Second call… no one picks up and I leave a message. This time I repeat myself 3 times to make sure it is clear that I want to set an appointment. Third call. Someone finally picks up and sets the appointment for me.
The day I drop of my girl I notice something was off and I should have listened to my instincts. I started to worry when 3 hours came and went without them calling me. Finally I had to call. They had her WAY too long.
I was told 3 hours, which is normal. No groomer takes more than 3 hours with my shiba. Even when it is her bad shedding season. I called after over 4 hours. I’m told she is still drying but you can come and get her. (BTW it took her 10 minutes to get to the phone and I heard everything going on in the background. No hold button. She was in no hurray to talk to me, she proceeded to continue what she was doing.)
I pick her up and this person proceeds to tell me about my dog that I have owned for 9 years. I understand she is a groomer; however, I know my dog and her breed. I know she was defending her job. It was not a bad job, I have just experienced better. When I got her home I had to brush her more to get the areas missed.
My overall impression was the place needed to be thoroughly cleaned, the walls painted and carpet cleaned. My little one could not get out of there fast enough and I will not put her through that again.
Before making your appointment, stop in and talk to the people there. Assess the place and make your own decision. I will not be going back.

This is a woman-​owned small business that has operated out of this salon location for many years, and I can point to many reasons why Karen, the proprietor, has been so successful for so long! She’s very patient, sweet, and gentle with the animals in her care, and consistently does a stellar job for what she charges for a grooming ($ 32).
She typically gets the groomings done in relatively good time – usually on the lower end of 3 – 5 hours, depending how busy she is that day, and does «custom styles” – tell her what kind of look you want for your pet, and voila! She nails it.
We’ve come to her since the late 90s for groomings for the three (mid-​sized) dogs we’ve had during this time, which have each had different demeanors, and which have required different levels of care. Our current dog, Barney, is a rescue who is timid in unfamiliar surroundings (see photo of her work – he’s the mini schnauzer laying on the green carpet), and she speaks to him so kindly and is so patient and understanding with him it makes my heart melt!
I’m confident strongly recommending Karen; if you put your furry loves in her care, I’m sure you’d agree with all the above!
