Aurelio’s Italian Grill

We have enjoyed two wonderful meals here. I had penne with palomino sauce the first time and salmon in vodka sauce second. Now I can’t wait to go back and try some more entrees, as both were absolutely delicious! Service is prompt, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. House wines are fine, and the ambience is quiet for conversation. Serving sizes are generous, so we took enough home for another meal.
Came back again, and had Tortellini Primavera. Excellent!

The chicken Alfredo was very plain, I will not be returning. It was not worth the 14.75 that I paid. The bread tasted old and the salad was probably the best thing.

Nice lunch special. Service has been very slow the last couple of times, food is average. Bread was stale. If you only have an hour for lunch not the place.

We frequent this restaurant a lot. We love the Chicken Cremosi it is out of this world! We have always had a great meal and the service is great as well. We love the bread and dip. I am sorry to hear that there have been some bad experiences. We have never encountered a bad meal. I have had other dishes as well but you HAVE to try the Chicken Cremosi!

Beautiful place and beautiful people. Best selection of Italian food around and they will make changes the way you prefer. Believe me you will not be disappointed and the prices and quality of food is top notch. Took my friends here never had a complaint. If you just want to take someone for lunch the prices unbelievable.

This place has the best most authentic Italian food I’ve had in years. The staff is attentive and courteous. The only problem is the noise level. It’s worth it though. We’ll be back.

Just left the restaurant. Ordered Chicken Princess, Veal Parmesan. Couldn’t find the veal under all the breading. Chicken was boiled. Tasteless dinner. Salad had lettuce cores in it. My bruschetta was served with cold melted mozzarella cheese. (obviously waitress wasn’t taking care of our order). DO NOT EAT HERE, ANY REVIEWS YOU READ MUST BE FROM FAMILY AND FRIENDS. Spaghetti sauce was acidic. Biggest waste of money. Sorrento’s has a better sauce. Never coming back. As far as I am concerned… if the parking lot isn’t busy on a Saturday night… then its not good food. Coney Island next door was busy. I go out to eat every Saturday night and this has been the worst meal I have had. Sorry… if I could it would receive no stars. Gordon Ramsey… this place needs your help.

Nasty perch floating in too much salty sauce chicken was so bad and over cooked couldn’t cut it with a knife, only decent thing was the wine, first and last time there

This place has basically everything I eat. Spaghetti, garlic bread, various salads, sandwiches, dinner food, lunch, and breakfast food. Best part is the prices are very affordable

NO NO NO! Do not try this place! We ordered a carryout as our office is right around the corner! HORRIBLE!!!
I ordered the Spinach and Ricotta Rigatoni… not seasoned and spinach was sparse at best. Minestrone soup… eh, decent but COLD. My friend order meat ravioli (only 4 come with lunch portion) and no parmesan cheese on top — bland at best. she ordered the side salad that comes with her meal. YELLOW iceburg lettuce! Seriously. It was lettuce and 1 tiny tomato. What a joke.

We have been having lunch at Aurelio’s for several months now. Some weeks once or twice! Outstanding food, very reasonable and friendly waitresses. (once we had a waiter… so, not all female) we love the express menu and the food comes out quickly.

Had dinner here and it was great. I had the Veal Marsala, with side salad and pasta. Everything tasted great. Place was clean and service was good. I hear they have the best lunch prices… I’ll be back.

We use to come here a few times a month but the past few times the service has been exceptionally slow. Tried it again tonight and still not good service. We stood to long to be seated in a not crowded restaurant. Once seated it took forever before someone came to greet us at the table and that was after we stopped her and asked if we could place an oder. The food is great and plentiful but if the service is poor I’m not returning. They need a floor manager to keep things going smoothly. It seems no one is in charge on the floor.

If you’re looking for a restaurant in Clinton Township Michigan do not and I repeat do not come to this one. This is some of the worst Italian food I’ve had in years. The bread was stale, the salad consisted of iceberg lettuce and one cucumber and the dressing tasted like mold.
The fettuccine Alfredo tasted like it was microwaved and the chicken Parmesan was so dry I had to drink three waters just to be able to get it down. I spent $ 23 and I’m leaving this restaurant hungry. Not only was the food horrible the service was equally is horrible.
There were literally six people in the restaurant at 7 PM on a Saturday night that should’ve been my first clue. If you check their Unilocal reviews however things seem like it might be okay. I’m beginning to think they had their friends and family create fake Unilocal reviews.
I will never and I repeat never come back to this restaurant.

My sister and I were looking for a good Italian restaurant close by. We did not feel like going to Olive Garden, so we decided to try Aurelio’s, as the reviews on Unilocal were good. We stepped inside & I was surprised by the décor inside the restaurant, as the outside makes the place look cheap and run down. The inside was small, charming and clean and we were seated at a booth near the window. I order a cup of the minestrone soup to start off with. I probably would not order it again. I am a huge fan of minestrone soup, but this cup was watery with little flavor. For lunch, I ordered the chicken marsala, while my sister ordered chicken parmesan. Both dishes were apart of the $ 6 lunch menu and were very generous in size. Each chicken dishes were served with pasta. The chicken marsala was very good, but I was disappointed by how watery the marsala sauce was. The tomato sauce on the chicken parmesan was thick and rather good. We ate fairly quickly, as I had to go to work so we boxed our food and were ready to pay. The waitress dropped off our bills and walked by several times, seeing we were ready to leave, but ignored us. This made me frustrated as the restaurant was not crowded at all. Overall, I would rate the place 3 stars. I would return, but on my day off as the service was rather slow. I would like to try the spaghetti with meatballs next time.

Right down the street from the Henry Ford Hospital, I’ve always passed by this restaurant. So finally, I decided to check this place out for a late lunch. The service is very nice, and I am a fan of the warm garlic bread with olive oil/​vinegar for the table.
First, do not order anything off of the Fitness Menu. It’s not their forte to serve lighter options. Plus, do you really want fat free ricotta? The sound of that is unappetizing to me.
This is a place that serves American Italian comfort food. The portions for lunch are huge, and I wonder what they are for dinner! All of the lunches come with soup or salad. I had the salad, and it wasn’t anything special.
The Food:
1) Spinach and Ricotta Rigatoni. It was heavy, but it was exactly what I was looking for. The ricotta cream sauce was wonderful and the pasta was perfectly al dente. As left overs, it still tasted wonderful.
2) Veal Siciliano Sandwich with Fries. It was very good and a nice crisp.
All and all, I would go back and try this Cremosi sauce that everyone is talking about. I don’t know if I will go for dinner, because the prices are a bit high for the type of food. For lunch, most meals are around $ 7 – 12.

The food was good! The penne with the palomino was very good. I couldn’t get enough of it. Same goes for the bread. It was very fresh and served warm. Their ranch dressing was just as addictive as their bread!
The staff was very friendly and did a wonderful job. I would go back again.

I just left here and was pleasantly surprised. This place took care of my family and friends after my uncle’s funeral, closing the restaurant for 3 hours to accommodate the people we brought.
The waitress was great (I wish I had gotten her name)-very quick and efficient. She also had the perfect sense if humor for the occasion and being at work in general.
The salad was a standard mixed greens with tomato and cucumber. While I asked for olive oil and vinegar, the rest if my table had the Italian dressing. None of them cared for the dressing very much, but as I didn’t have it myself I cannot say how good or bad it was.
Nor can I comment on the bread for the same reason; however, the rest of the table tore through 4 helpings. That should give you some idea as to how good the bread was.
Unfortunately, I didn’t eat either of the two pastas brought to the table, but it must have been good enough bc the table emptied both platters.
I did try the Chicken Siciliano, which is simply breaded chicken with a side if Amoglio sauce. The chicken was for tender and moist, which can be difficult to pull off when chicken is pounded thin. The mixed veggies were also well prepared and not overly buttered.
After leaving I told my girlfriend that we would have to come back and sample more of the menu. After my experience today, I’d suggest you do the same.

Had great food everytime I have been here. I enjoyed their chicken cremosi very much. Large portion sizes are a plus. The house dressing is good and bread is also above average. There meat marinara was better than most as well.
