Great local clifton bar, when college is in session it is definitely a great thursday bar

Apparently Shots doesn’t care if they lose out on some business, or at least that was the impression they gave our party of 8 on a dead Wednesday night.
We gathered at the bar to celebrate a co-worker’s farewell because we read it was trivia night. After we settled in, we realized that there will most likely be no trivia since there were a total of 12 people in the bar, including the 8 of us. Despite our doubts, the bartender assured us there would be trivia.
Then the bartender said her shift was coming to an end and would like us to pay the tab she collected and start a new one with the next bartender. We agreed and left her a good tip, but none of us ordered food yet and we were anxious to get our order in. Twenty minutes later and we receive no service, so we left.
The moral of the story is that the service was disappointing, but it didn’t bother us since we ended up spending $ 200 at the next place. Shots didn’t want our business and that’s fine by me. Sure, they have cheap drinks and happy hour until 8pm, but I’m not even sure if their kitchen was open and the service is some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. I cannot recommend this bar to anyone.

Great bar to relax on weekdays or party on weekends. The TVs are great for sports, beer is cheap, food is good. Friendly staff too.

It’s a local bar. Mostly locals come here to watch the game. Though it does attract a younger crowd for the beer pong also.
Not much character for a bar. Just a place to leave your house to drink.

My friend who is local to area took me here. the food and service are wonderful. Chicken wings n beers can’t go wrong. The mix drinks on other hand are a bit watered-​down.

Great place. Amazing food. Everybody was really nice who worked there. And def a fun place to watch football

The other Unilocalers are definitely right, it’s a very local bar. I went for the first time and saw a bunch of people from high school who were older than me. The drinks were okay, nothing special or nothing that strong either. The music was great though, deff loved that part. I only stayed for a half an hour. If you wanna do something local, I suggest going to the Shannon rose 7 minutes away!

Perfect local bar… doesn’t get too busy unless it’s Sunday football then I would suggest going early… Most of the bartenders are attentive and work fast … Fun trivia on Wednesday. plenty of tv’s for sports … Food is average nothing special… Need bigger bathrooms not accommodating when they have a crowd. plenty of parking with own lot and huge lot across the street.

I’ve been to Shots a bunch of times, and the food is always great. And the portions are huge. I had a chicken quesadilla that I swore the bar had to lose money on because there was so much cheese and chicken. On another order, not sure if the cook messed up or what, but my order of mini sliders looked like 3 full size cheeseburgers. There always seems to be drink specials too, both during lunch and weeknights. I would like a better bathroom set up (which may not be anyone’s fault because it was packed that night), but other than that, everything is always top notch. Definitely going to continue coming back.

We stopped here driving through town. Ordered 2 pepsi’s which were flat and gross. Didn’t bother sending back as the table next to us had the same issue and it was just re-​poured. Fries were very good, chicken fingers were decent, buffalo chicken wrap had too much dressing. Bartender was extremely nice and friendly. I’m guessing they don’t get a lot of orders for Pepsi so it was old.

One of the main reasons I created this Unilocal account was to write this review. I came to this place on Wednesday for their weekly trivia night and decided to order some drinks and a burger with fries. The trivia competition was fun but the drinks are very overpriced. As for the burger and fries, well they were absolute GARBAGE.
I paid a little over $ 11 for a «chili» burger the size of a White Castle slider, with hamburger meat that tasted worse than those I ate in elementary school. To add the minuscule amount of chili I received on my $ 11 mini-​burger was $ 1 more and it might as well not have even come with fries as I received a insignificant amount of that as well. The icing on the cake? My kids meal took an HOUR to come out and it was COLD.
In short, I ate the WORST BURGER OF MY LIFE here.

This is a small sports bar with cheap bar food that’s well worth the trip. Each day of the week they have great specials on food too. Bartenders are all female and all very friendly. I consider this my local establishment now. Get too busy on weekend nights for me but its great for business!

This place isn’t a real sports bar. I think it is trying to be upscale. They seem to attract a very young crowd and play some really bad music.

Was enjoying myself at the beginning. Place has a lot of TV, attentive staff which is very much appreciated. Got good deals ($ 1 miller drafts if you are into it).
However.
If you are going to put a DJ and separate an area for a dance floor, that’s awesome. But when you have one of your guys wearing a «security» shirt standing in the DJ area making the «cut it out sign», you know this place doesn’t have its priorities straight. I don’t give half a crap if I suck at dancing. You do not tell patrons to «cut it out».
If there is no improvement in the area of welcoming patrons to enjoy themselves, I would not come here again.

The food is pretty darn good. I finally found a place that makes a really really good chilli dog and I’m gonna keep going back for more. The only thing that bugged me about Shots is that the sound for the game was turned up way too high for it not being a big game night. It could have been turned down and I still would of heard the game fine.

i heard it was a gay bar. was there and the food was good. nothing bad about the gay think at all just heard it was.

went to a bday party there. great time. good food.
