Manfred Tschopp Heating and Air Conditioning

After having a house for 5 years, I was nearly convinced that the world is filled with contractors who are incompetent, unscrupulous, or some unholy combination of both but then I was fortunate enough to find Manfred Tschopp. Manfred, unlike most of the contractors who have entered my home, who care for only their paycheck and the speed at which they can finish, cares about his integrity and the craft which he practices. I have used him twice.
The first time I was victim of an incompetent contractor who broke my furnace. After calling him, Manfred arrived promptly, assessed the problem and recommended that he repair the old unit at a fraction of the cost of replacement. He could have easily taken advantage of my initial inclination to replace the unit and he would have collected a fee four times what I was charged.
The second time I was I called him my hot water heater broke. When I called his office, his wife told me that would be all booked up until the end of the week. However, within 10 minutes of my initial call, he called me back and told me that he would be over with a new water heater within the hour. Furthermore, unlike many of the contractors I have dealt with the price he gave me on the phone was the price I was charged.
