Avoid this dump… the place is falling apart. Not only is the owner cheap, he’s also a racist! He hates minorities and doesn’t allow the DJ to play Hip Hop(even the soft core stuff) or Latin Music. Also, the food is not fresh(all frozen goods) and there seems to be a lot of illegal activity between the staff & patrons… YOU’VEBEENWARNED :(

There once was a time for me when 1 out of every 7 nights was reserved for Dillinger’s in Clifton, NJ, however, that time has come and gone. The DJ/Karaōke hosts have gone from playing an eclectic mix, geared for just about any 20 – 30 something aged bar-hopper, to making many long-time regulars stop at the front door, turn around 180 degrees, and head back to their cars. If all you’d like to drink is domestic Anheuser-Busch beer than the $ 15 beer bucket is for you; order any other drinks and prepare to empty your wallet. On a positive note: the booze isn’t watered down! If you value your car or truck, I suggest you get a ride in with someone else – leave your vehicle at home. Why? The chances are that you’ll either get a dent in your door or bumper in the ridiculous parking lot, or someone will get thrown into your ride during an outdoor mini-brawl. Having a few drinks to chill out solo or with friends is one thing, but being surrounded by drug pushers and users is completely different. There is more white powder being passed around at this joint than an anthrax lab. The one constant positive attribute that remains about Dillinger’s through the years is its owners; yup, they’re still around and always willing to have a good conversation about life or whatever other BS might be on your mind. Dillinger’s is hard to avoid if you’re traveling a bar scene anywhere near Clifton, but I wouldn’t stop there first.

Dude free Karaōke three nights a week, as a straight edge guy its not too bad of a deal.
