I had a polish change done today. The job by the Spanish lady is very messy! The accused me — that it was my fault because I didn’t get a pedicure in one of their dirty bowls. I could have done a better job! She just splashed the paint on my nails. I’ve been here in the past with good results but I will not be returning. I will stick to paying more money in the city after work.

Stay away!!! I have the most horrifying infection on my finger from my first visit at this place. It is swollen and full of puss and I have already been to the doctor twice because of it, plus I am unable to work.

The 1 star is for my «gel» manicure lasting over 2 weeks. The negative 4 stars are for my «gel» manicure definitely NOT being gel. This is definitely an acrylic — i always soak-off Shellac, etc. at home in acetone, and this barely budged. It sloughed off like acrylic(which I used to get ages ago), and my nails are much stiffer. Normally I wouldn’t complain, but I know it’s not because my nails are oh so healthy. Also, this place is DIRTY. I had to watch them with a close eye and request certain things. The pedicurist was fine, not much she can do with a crappy facility. Manicurist rushed me through, and argued with me when I asked if they had Shellac or OPI(or even Essie) for gel. they had none of those, and she assured me what she had was good.(Rolling my eyes.) All I had on my nails before this was paint… clear top coat paint, and she took out the rolling buzzer file thing! I was like AHHNO wtf are you doing with that? These are my natural nails? I know they have to buff a LITTLE before applying a gel polish… but come on. Nasty, dirty, knockoff products and NOT cheap. Avoid this place at all costs — and they’re definitely not associated with the Crystal Nails on Broad St.

This place is HORRENDOUS. I paid $ 65 for a gel manicure, within five days one nail broke. Went back to get it fixed, the next morning another nail broke. Exactly one week later, TWO more nails broke. I will never set foot in this place again. The lady also made my nails too short. Never again, save your money and time.

The experience I had at this salon was horrible. Rude staff who charged me FIVEDOLLARS for an extra coat on ONEFINGER. Not to mention, that nail is now broken when she claimed to «already have fixed it».(I got these acrylic fill ins done THREEDAYSAGO!) I’ve never been so unsatisfied with a nail salon and their service, serves me right for trying to ditch my normal salon for this one due to its convenience for me. I JOINED Unilocal just to write this review and warn people not to go here. My pedicure was pretty good, except there are no bubbles/stimulation in the water and the chairs with massage feature do not work. I am unhappy with my manicure, the service and the money I paid for such a crappy job done. Never going to Crystal nails again.

Very happy with the service. I go there to get gel manicure. Jenny does my gel manicure and she does a great job. After two weeks of doing my nails there they still look great. I brought their membership there for $ 3. Every dollar is one point.

Just like the other reviewer, I was very unhappy with the way they filed my NATURAL nails down to NOTHING after I proceeded to tell the woman not to. I was getting a gel manicure($ 25) and said PLEASE do not file my nails down or cut them, even if they are uneven, they are very long and took me a while to grow out. I was getting the gel manicure to make them stronger and longer, not shorter! I was really upset. They didn’t seem to care at all. The nails look fine, I guess, but SUPER short… really gross. Very disappointed, I won’t be going back!

Horrible. A gel pedicure is $ 43 and a builder gel fill in with uv color is $ 51. I told the lady I wanted my nails a certain length and she cut them but then proceeded to file them down to the length of my natural nail. Then when I told her they were too short she said she didn’t file them down at all which was a lie. Not to mention the fact that she didn’t even know what I was talking about and pulled out the fake acrylic nails. After using the tools on my own nails the woman clipped her cuticles while still doing my nails. She wiped down the tools which were brown never putting them in the sterilizer. While my nails were curing she gave me a massage which felt more like punching than anything. I am never going back there
