Clawes Carpets

I cannot say enough good things about Clawes Carpets. We bought a new house in October 2014, and all of the carpets needed replaced. We worked with Bobby, who I believe is the owner, and he is honestly such a great guy. He was very personable and professional, and he really knows what he is doing. He worked with us to find the right carpets for us, knowing our needs (kids, pets), budget, and time constraints (we had not yet moved our stuff into the new home and were obviously hoping to have the new carpet installed before moving in). I was very happy with the selections they offer, as well as the pricing, and they were able to get the new carpet installed within a few days of our initial meeting; it was a full house job (two stories, 8 rooms plus staircase), and they got it all done in a few hours. We were very happy with the work done. We also recently had them come out to do a repair/​replacement in one room (thanks to our territorial cats), which was also done at a great price and a reasonable time frame. We haven’t had them clean the carpets yet, but will be doing that in a month or two, probably. I will update my review if necessary after they clean the carpets, but at this point, I’m expecting more excellence!

Clawes installed carpet and new hardwoods throughout our townhouse a few years ago. At that time, we didn’t know what we wanted, so they provided a lot of great advice and samples to consider to make the process easier. When we sold that and bought a single family home, the first call we made after we got the keys to the house was to Bobby Clawes. He came out, took all the measurements, and we quickly had new hardwoods and carpets installed. The crews at Clawes worked quickly and did an outstanding job. The price was very reasonable too compared to Empire and Lowes.

I’ve had Clawes put hardwood flooring and carpeting in my house and they did an excellent job. When I wanted my kitchen tile replaced, I went to Clawes. I also decided to have my guest bathroom renovated– they do that too! Jim, the man who did all this work was terrific. He is very professional, and does an excellent job– he is meticulous about doing everything well and is very neat and clean when he works. He did a fabulous job, and I could not be more happy with the outcome.

I just had laminte fooring installed by clawes and it looks amazing! The clifton location was very helpful in helping me pick a color of the floor because i’m selling my condo. I’m very happying with the color and can see why its their best seller. The instalation crew was on time and they completed the job quicker than i was quoted. I would definitely recommend and use clawed carpet again for my future home.

We recently had our stairs and second level bedrooms carpeted by Clawes’. The entire process from choosing the right carpeting, to measurements and installation could not have been easier or more pleasant an experience! The entire staff is very knowledgable and extremely helpful. The installation went smoothly and all of the squeaking floorboards were screwed down — it’s like we have a brand new, well-​constructed upper floor. And it looks beautiful!
Clawes’ was recommended to us by our neighbors and, since we were extremely pleased with them, we are now be able to do the same.
