I have just started working in the area and after stumbling upon this gem through Unilocal I have been back half a dozen times with many more trips to follow. The sandwiches are delicious as well as big, all for a great price!

Food is great from this place, service is a little slow when you just walk in but it’s worth the wait. Call ahead if your picking up for your lunch break. Definitely will be back.

Fantastic sandwiches at yesterdays prices, service by the nicest people you could ever meet.
Come hungry, they are not small sandwiches.
Personal favorites are their Italian sandwich (the daily lunch special, lucky me) and their breaded chicken vinaigrette sandwich.
The few times I’ve eaten a hot meal instead of a sandwich was just as good.
Don’t forget to try their house sodas, the ginger ale and root beer are great.

I’ve been very remiss in writing up a review for Agamie’s Gourmet Delicatessen.
It deserves all 5 of those stars, but I know by giving a glowing recommendation I’m going to let the secret out about Agamie’s. I’m really picky about a deli, as my grandmother owned one and operated it for more than 25 years, so I’ve got some preconceived ideas about how delis should be, and Agamie’s makes me feel like I’m a kid again back at my Oma’s deli.
Sandwiches are piled high and are bursting with rich flavored that shows the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into the preparation. Don’t forget to also pick up some of their home made sodas, especially the Ginger Ale.
What makes Agamie’s shine aside from fast service and a clean shop, is the people. Specifically, if you get a chance to chat with Denise, do so. You’ll be very glad you did. (If you need a conversation starter, comment on the picture of Telly Savalas on the wall behind the counter.) It doesn’t just stop there. She is just one of the amazingly friendly people at Agamie’s that makes it a joy to go to. Basically, they made me feel like family from visit one.

Amazing food, people and prices. Was looking for a good deli while on lunch and stumbled upon this place. You can not go wrong with any of the choices here. Huge portions, friendly people and low prices. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great lunch spot to eat with family or friends. I will definitely be coming back in here in the future. Another hidden gem on market street. It’s easy to pass by, but worth a stop. Delicious and huge subs and sandwiches. Everything I’ve tried there has been great and everyone who works there is very friendly, great little local deli thats becoming my go-​to place for subs.

This place has won me over. My new go-​to sandwich place in Clifton. They pile their sandwiches high with meat, and the owner is very friendly. I still wish they used some softer bread, but these are some very tasty sandwiches.

This is very much a neighborhood deli with quality products and a great selection.
The subs are huge, there’s a ton of choices, and they’ll make any variation you want.
Prices are very reasonable and definitely worth what you get.

My wife and I walk about a mile in each direction to enjoy our favorite sandwich a turkey club with potato salad.
Let me tell you the walk is well worth it. They give you so much for a great price.
The sandwich is always delicious and the potato salad is fantastic. Also there is no skimping on the portions.
The staff and owner are so friendly and great to hangout with while you wait for your order to be completed.
If you find yourself hungry and are near by stop in you won’t be sorry you did.

This place is all the local’s fav. Friendly people serving the friendly neighborhood. Love all the subs and sandwich options. Everything is always home made and so fresh. Price and portion, very reasonable too! Mmmmm… yummy in my tummy!!!
