As far as the donations – yes the bins get overflowing. Both times I’ve been there when they were in that state, a SA truck came, loaded up and redistributed the goods to other locations, which is what happens at all SA’s. Just because you drop it off at one location doesn’t mean it gets sold at that specific place. And EVERY place that has donation bins requires bags. It’s not because they’re expecting people to leave them outside the bins. I mean – even if everything fit in the bins, would you want people to just dump a bunch of loose stuff in there? As far as the store goes, it’s one of the smallest SA stores I’ve ever seen. The clothing sections are limited, but the housewares section downstairs is great. There are always tons of great dishes and décor items. The prices are fantastic, especially if you go on ½ price days(Wednesdays). Parking lot is really small and pretty treacherous, especially on Wednesdays. 4 stars for housewares, 3 stars for clothes 2 stars for parking lot and facility(it’s on 2 floors, so not very handicap friendly) 5 stars for the bargains I’ve picked up here

While I’m all in favor of the Salvation Army, I do not take my donations to this location anymore. Clothes and usable goods are ruined in the rain/snow and not going to good use because this location cannot accommodate all the donations they receive. When I got there the donation bins were full and people were just leaving their things in the lot outside the bins. There was a big sign that said, «all donations must be in plastic bags», which to me means that they just didn’t have the ability to accommodate all the donations. Someone should be directing people to go elsewhere with their donations if nothing can be done to prevent items from being ruined from neglect. Bags and bags were just left to sit outside in the weather! There was a pile in the corner of the lot of things that had fallen out of bags simply to be plowed up with the snow. How sad! We took the time to save, wash, fold and package, they should take the time to make sure someone who needs clothing gets it in usable condition.
