I lived here for three years(2009 – 2012). Overall it’s a pretty nice complex. Nothing fancy, but it was very peaceful and quiet and the building/grounds were maintained well(I never had any issues with them not plowing the driveways or the sidewalks). The people who live here want peace and quiet so there’s not much tolerance for loud parties or troublemakers. The policy is officially no pets but I saw a lot of cats in people’s windows. You definitely wouldn’t want to have a dog though. Some of the units were pretty dated, but my unit was a ground floor one bedroom in the back of the building with the patio facing a(mostly) private backyard. It was nice. Appliances were electric and worked fine(including the dishwasher). The only small negative is that there aren’t washer/dryer hookups in the unit(I actually never rented a unit in the Albany area that had them, so it was no surprise). The building had the standard coin-op machines but I ended up buying a portable washer/dryer set that hooked up to the sink. I spent quite a bit of effort to make sure my unit was clean and well taken care of, and about a month after I moved out I received my full security deposit back. So no complaints at all.
