Woah. It’s magic nails alright! Sign outside says 25 $ for mani pedi, but it’s actually 30 $! And I picked the color«wicked» and it’s completely a different color! It’s MAGIC! The prices magically go up and the nail polish magically changes color! The lady who did my nails didn’t even file my nails or push my cuticles back! STRANGE! Lazy! And they definitely don’t sanitize their equipment! GROSS! Good luck if you’re heading to MAGIC nails!

I tried a number of places for pedicure and always come back to this place. They do a wonderful job every time. Their pedicure is affordable, they don’t rush and give a great massage.

Absolutely horrible. Went in for a wax and the owner herself did the job she applied the wax and burned me. Then she tells me she can’t see that well with her glasses on!!! Then why are you performing such services and to top it off she missed numerous places on my legs. I am never going back!

So I still love Jen for eyebrow waxing. But I just had a manicure/pedicure by Kelly and she did a terrible job. I had gel on my nails and she had no clue how to get it off. She was huffing and puffing and visibly annoyed. Finally, Jen came over and quickly took it off with the buffer tool(not sure if that’s what it’s called). She was so rude and the«massage» was nonexistent. Same for the pedicure. Fingernails have already peeled and the corners are not smooth. If you want quality nail services, go to Gina Massaro at Gorgeous Salon on Union Street in Schenectady. I’ll continue going to Jen for eyebrow waxes but whatever you do, DONOT get Kelly!

Very, very quiet and peaceful. Clean. The employees are polite and do a good job. I usually walk in and never have to wait. I usually think that the foot and leg massage is a waste of time and sometimes uncomfortable, but I love it here! I’ve had a pedicure by 2 different people now and both of their massage techniques were great. Hot towels, hot stones included.

I had AMC put on my nails. well the first thing I noticed was the French manicure was not even. The nails popped off after 2 weeks. completely came off of three of my fingers. Actually I found one on the floor of my office so I wasn’t doing anything like yard work or something like that. $ 50 for the AMC nails. not sure about pricing since it was my first time. The other thing Is I would tell the girl shorter. and she take a little off, I said shorter again and a little more, very reluctant to make my nails shorter. after the 3rd time I gave up.

This is usually my go to nail place when I’m in the area. $ 10 for a Mani in Clifton park isn’t bad. They do a pretty good job with the manicures; they take their time and are very gentle with the cuticles! I have had many places cut my cuticles until they bleed. Here they are very gentle :) the manicures may not be the best I have ever gotten but they always feel nice. The staff take pride in their work and are friendly. The place is also very clean and has tons of chairs for manicures and pedicures. I have never had to wait here. The atmosphere is very relaxing with nice music playing. I would definitely recommend Magic Nails !

So after reading the decent reviews I decided to give magic nails a try. Big mistake. I went in for a gel French mani. Kelly did my nails. She did a terrible job. My French was crooked. It was so obvious I didn’t even have to say anything, she began trying to fix it by going over it again and again. It came out a clumpy mess. When I asked her to fix it she pretended she didn’t understand what it was saying. Not happy!!! I should’ve went to Will Nails!

The guy who did my nails did the acrylic way too think and I had a picture of the nail design I wanted and he didn’t even come close. Don’t go here for acrylic or gel nails.

My mom and I visited this nail salon on Labor Day. They were one of the few places open on the holiday. We were only going for manicures(costing $ 10 each) and the salon was able to accommodate us immediately. The manicure and pedicure stations seemed very clean. That is pretty much where the positive experience ended for me. The guy doing my manicure rushed the process and cut my cuticle to the point where it bled slightly. He overdid the topcoat a bit and sure enough, bubbles started to form… When he scratched one of my nails, his tactic to fix the blemish was to tap my nail with a bit of nail polish remover on his finger. Which really just thinned out the color and did not look good. As its a $ 10 manicure, I really shouldn’t have expected much more. But what really got to me was that as I went to pay for my manicure I was informed that there was a minimum charge for credit cards– the exact minimum they didn’t say, but I had to put both our manicures on the card. I added $ 5 tip– intending for it to be split between the guy and the lady working on my mom’s manicure. But he assumed it was all for him. I don’t think he shared it with the other lady. Ridiculous. Again, I know I shouldn’t expect much given how low the cost was. The other manicurists might do a much better job than the guy who did mine. But what prompted me to write this review was the fact that just the next day my manicure was already chipping. I would not go back to this salon. There are many others in the Capital region who deserve the business. Personally, I will not be straying from my beloved Bamboo Salon in Astoria in the future. A note to the owners — you really should post a sign at the front desk if there are any minimum charge amounts for credit cards. Its just common courtesy and a time saver for your business.
