UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s

Horrid experience with our 12 year old daughter, wanted her transferred to Cleveland Clinic maybe a mile down the rd, she is stable just waiting on a bed at an eating disorder RTC. The place is filthy, the Doctors are in competent not specialized to treat her like the Cleveland Clinic, the Social Worker lack expertise and compassion for the family or my child. If you want your child and family traumatized and forced to go to court this is the place to go. Bugs flying around the cafeteria, we have to change her sheets, my daughter has to sanitize her own food tray. Awful, Awful, traumatizing not only to my daughter but to my family.

This review is regarding rainbow babies dental clinic. Terrible place. They wanted to put metal caps on my son’s baby teeth for some superficial cavities. Got a second opinion at a different place and the pediatric dentist took care of the problem with just a simple filling. If you have a choice, I’d stay far away from this place.

I worked as a child life activities volunteer here when I was still at CWRU. I was consistently impressed with the hospital.
The nurses, doctors, child life specialists, and staff in general are all very professional and concerned with the welfare of the patients. Everything is done for the benefit of the kids.
Logistically speaking, it’s nice that the hospital is accessible through Euclid and Adelbert. It’s relatively easy to get from one area of the hospital to another without much confusion. There’s a cafeteria with lots of healthy options and an atrium with lots of seating.
I loved working here, and based on my interactions with everyone, I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I would also recommend the child life activities volunteer program; one of the most meaningful things I did in college, and a definite help to the nurses and child life specialists! Keep up the good work, UH!

This is the hospital where it all started ;) July 24, 1984 I was born 9 weeks early weighing 3lbs 14 oz. This is a great, amazing hospital that took care of me when I was so very little. It holds a special place in my heart and always will. That is one thing we can rely on in Cleveland, there are GREAT amazing Doctors, Nurses and staff that will take extreme and excellent care of you! Keep it up!

They saved the life of a newborn infant in our family. Truly amazing and heroic. Brilliant staff, all of them. Be proud Cleveland.
