The Chef House

Awful, just awful! Service was so slow and food terrible. Grilled chicken was gray and could not be eaten! Other meats at table were dry and burnt.

Couple tips… They stop serving breakfast at 11:00 and are closed on Saturdays. Weird but no points off for weird. Waitress is friendly service is at a comfortable pace. I order Rueben Curley fries and cup of broccoli cheese soup. The soup was old, thick lumpy without much broccoli and SO overpoweringly salty I could not eat it. It flat out sucked. Onto Rueben. 8.95, tiny portion of corned beef that was ok. The Bread was not toasted much at all, Russian dressing meh pretty flavorless and the sauerkraut was so sour almost could not eat it. At the end of the meal. No one asked about the soup (which they erased off the board after my bowl) but they did offer their frequent diner punchcard. Like I’m ever going back. And by the way. You will be disappointed. Forget the friends and family reviews below.

Wonderful food, great portion size. And man, the desserts! A great family place. You will not be disappointed.

With the owners (husband and wife team) manning the pass and grill, you will not be disappointed! Nice and clean place with a country theme.
Great selection on the menu for breakfast or lunch… fresh ground meat daily!
I love the stuffed burger with peppers and cheese, something like that… awesome!
I tried the breakfast tacos (which were nice and fat) but I hated the packet salsa… no worries though…
Great daily specials…(I always try the burgers, but they look good).
Home made brownies, pies and cakes prepared by the mother n law (not sure who’s mom is cranking out the goodies).
The brownies and German chocolate cake are stand outs!
