The most beautiful pieces I own are from him! He truly creates masterpieces and takes so much time creating exactly what you want. So talented and beautiful work.

The band on my heirloom star sapphire band snapped (yes, snapped!). Saxon Jewelers took the time to inspect the ring to identify all existing problems that needed to be addressed and not just the obvious band breakage. He explained how he would be fixing the ring and he made sure that he understood my expectations before undertaking the work. Two short weeks later and I have my ring back and it is better than ever. He completely reshanked the ring rather than simply soldering it back together, repaired one of the prongs that he felt might break «soon» and reengraved the band. The price was a little steep (compared to what, I don’t honestly know but $ 300 felt a little expensive??) but it was completely worth it. I am confident my ring will be safe and that I can continue to wear it for years to come.
I would return to Saxon jewelers anytime I needed a repair and I’d love to receive a specially designed piece from him as well.

I would give Mike ten stars if Unilocal allowed it. He was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. My family has been going to him for years so when the time came that I was ready to «pop the question», I knew where to go.
I was born and raised in Cleveland but live in Chicago now so our first meeting was in between Christmas and New Years while I was back in town. Mike met with me at 7:30am on a Saturday and we discussed what I had in mind. We determined that it would need to be custom-​made but decided on the budget and design. From there, he sent me computer renderings a few days later. I asked him to make a few edits and he re-​sent the revised renderings shortly thereafter. It was perfect and I said «go». In the meantime, he had been looking for the best center stone possible. He called me one day about one that he found and was very excited about it. It felt good to have someone on my side and excited about the engagement instead of someone just selling a piece of jewelry.
Long story short, he made a custom ring from scratch and had it FedEx’d to my office less than three weeks after our first meeting. Myself, my fiancé and all her family and friends are blown away at how gorgeous the ring is. The center stone is unbelievably clear and the design is perfect.
MIke did an incredible job under a tight time frame and within a certain budget. I’d recommend Mike to anyone.

I went to Saxon Jewelers knowing nothing about diamonds. All I knew is that I wanted to get my better half a one-​of-​a-​kind engagement ring.
We found Mike to be very patient, knowledgable, and talented. He took the time to teach me about the four Cs, what’s important in a stone, and ways to avoid unnecessary costs. Anything we could ask for or imagine Mike could procure and design. His approach was that of an artist and not a salesman. He says he can work with a budget of $ 100 as easily as a budget of $ 100K and I believe him.
What we ended up with was a gorgeous three stone ring that exceeded our expectations. My fiancée receives compliments daily and I feel like I received a bargain given how stunning the piece is. Check him out.
