I’ve been going to Nesi at Professional Hair Designers just about every month for the past 4 years. In my(albeit biased) opinion, there’s no better barber downtown. Technically, it’s a three-chair shop, but you want Nesi. Tell him what you want once, and he’ll remember what you like from then on. You’ll get a shampoo, cut, straight-razor shave to line up the edges, a scalp massage with product, and a steam towel to relax your work week away. Then, he’ll take the time to double-check his cuts after your hair dries. Trust me, the man won’t let you leave unless everything is perfect. Two tips — first, bring cash. I’ve never tried credit, but cash keeps it smooth. Second, call ahead, at least a week in advance. Wait for the week of, or day before, and you might be left out in the cold. He’s busy, and the shop isn’t open on weekends.
