I brought some logger boots in to have them resoled. I specified that I needed the heel to be two inches which is the size they were when I brought them in. This is a requirement for the type of work that I do. When I picked them up they only had a one inch heel although the owner said they were two inches. I have been wearing logger boots for quite some time so I know by now the difference between a one inch and two inch heel.

Very happy with the boots that I brought in to get re-soled. I have a tendency to wait till my boots are nearly falling apart to bring them in, and at Orti’s, they mend them back into shape and they feel like new boots! Well priced, fast service. He’s old school though, so pay in cash if you can!

This guy is great. I’ve had many heels/shoes repaired and it’s always turned out great! Also very reasonably priced. I recently just had a purse repaired(the straps) and it only cost me 10 bucks. He will also ask you when you need it buy and if it’s a quick fix, he’ll do it right then and there and you’re out in 10 minutes.

Okay so I have this pair of LLBean loafers that I have had since college and choose NOT to part with until they are peeled from my cold, dead feet… (Ugh sorry… Not nearly as funny as the voices said that line would be) But here is the thing, I went to two other shoe repair places to hear«They’re too old to fix so you should just go buy new ones»…Dummy me doesn’t find Oriti’s until a few hours later so I go with shoes in hand and he takes one look at them and says, pick them up in a week”? I say sure! Fast forward a week later to pick up my shoes… So pleased… He brought new life to them and I will get at least another couple of years out of them before I am forced to burn them in a funeral pyre… I got more stuff he’s gonna fix and you should keep him in mind for your leather repair needs… Good on Oriti’s!!!
