Original Mattress Factory

The Original Mattress Factory was recommended to me by many so I decided to try them out. The customer service was incredible. The staff was attentive, friendly, informative, not pushy and very relatable. I had all the information I needed within minutes and then some. Every question I had was answered and every concern was heard. The store had just enough options to choose from without being overwhelming, customers and staff were happy throughout the store. I was very impressed and pleased! Thank you for delivering GREAT customer service, which is hard to come by!

Our family recently purchased our 4^th mattress from OMF. One was a custom made ¾ size for an antique bed. I really appreciate being able to get a premium mattress at a very fair price. David at the Elyria store was very helpful and didn’t pressure or rush our choice. The delivery people were fast courteous and accommodating. They carried my old mattress away and set up the new bed just where I wanted it. I have also purchased bunkie boards for my cottage bunk beds and my son’s broken down dorm bed.

As a long time customer of Original Mattress factory I was very disappointed with the mattress I bought in 2012. It sagged terribly and hurts my back. My wife winds up having to sleep on the floor quite often. I called and it took 3 weeks to get someone to come look at it. he could visibly see it sag and measure and agreed it was sagging. Additionally, he noted the pillow top was too large and sewed on incorrectly.
He stuffed a bunch of padding under it to «help» level it out. I was given the option of him taking it with him to «fix» or going to the store to pick out another bed. I went and picked out another bed at the store but Justin has never gotten back with me. He has ignored my voicemail and had promised to call to resolve the issue the next week.
That was in January. It is now June. I wish you would have just told me if you weren’t going to make it right. I guess it is time to go matress shopping. It definitely won’t be at the Original Mattress Factory.
For what it is worth Dan Schreckengost at the store offered great service — I have bought 3 sets from him. Unfortunately he does not have the power to fix a problem — there is apparently only one guy in the Atlanta market who can look at a bed and he doesn’t follow thru with you.
Before my experience with this set and Justin I would have rated it a 5. But now I have a mattress that is less than two years old and it being thrown away soon.

Very frustrating people to deal with. I’ve bought original mattress beds for years, and am going elsewhere for my next purchase. They came in, took the plastic off the bed without permission, and now that the bed does not fit the store manager mike says they will not take it back. I get that no one wants a returned bedspring, but how about you don’t take the plastic off and call the factory when there is an issue! Instead they left, and now the bed is «used» two hours later, and the factory won’t work with me, even though they dropped the ball! No one gave us any policy, including the delivery men who unwrapped the bed without permission! Buyers beware: bad customer service.
