My Place Family Restaurant

I have a big thing for family own restaurants because sometimes you can truly stumble onto some good finds… This time it was not the case. I came here once before for lunch and ordered a corned beef sandwich which was delicious!
This morning I wanted to try out their breakfast and saw that they offer an eggs Benedict!!! Once I received it, I just looked at it in confusion. The hollandaise sauce looked chunky and then once I tasted it, it tasted like chicken gravy. Boy was that a disappointment. I am not one to complain but if you say there is hollandaise sauce available I expect it to be available. I then ordered biscuits and gravy which was another disappointment because the biscuits were so dry that it sucked up all my saliva in my mouth which made it hard to swallow. Good thing there was water available!
The service was ok, not the best though because she just did not look like she wanted to be there. She was very sweet and catering to my needs. She made sure I was ok and answered any questions I had.
Overall I would not come back to this place for food nor would I recommend it again to anyone.

They changed their name to hums and did not change the sign out front. It us amazing how fast the food comes to the table. Everything was great and so was the wait staff
