I had used this Monro location for years to get my oil changes and tire rotations. I had them do some very minor work on occasion as well. I have another mechanic I use for the major repairs to my car. Recently, I went in for the usual oil change and rotation. Up until about 6 months ago, I was never pressured for other repairs when I went in there. I got what I requested, and left. Lately, and including the last visit, I have been getting hounded about getting additional work done. I always tell them the same thing. Put it on the form at the end, and I will take it to my regular mechanic. This last visit, the manager decided to out and out lie to me about work needing to be done. How do I know? Because the work he claimed needed done had just been done in May. I double checked with my mechanic regarding what was listed on my sheet, and he confirmed that the parts they were claiming needed replaced, had just been replaced 4 months ago, and should not need replaced again for a very long time. He looked at it as well, and confirmed what he said originally. I contacted Monro corporate, and their solution to this was to have a manager call me about it. The very same manager that lied to me. Just because I am female doesnt mean I am also stupid or ignorant when it comes to work needing done on my vehicle. Do not use this location unless you enjoy being ripped off. Especially if you are a woman. They just lost a customer over $ 300 of work that didnt need done. Way to go, Monro.
