This hotel cost $ 40 less than the holiday inn express on the night I stayed here. I was very pleased with how clean my room was. The hotel seems to only be a few years old with up to date rooms. I would stay here again

This La Quinta was surprisingly nice and clean given that it’s located in Cleveland, TX. I don’t mean that to be an affront against La Quinta in any way; it’s more a social commentary of the norm in an East Texas town. Any of y’all ever been to East Texas? Ever been to a small town in East Texas? Then you know that small East Texas towns don’t usually have nice things. The population of Cleveland is around 7,700 people. It’s not the smallest, but it’s small and the hotels that were here when I was growing up weren’t anything you’d really want to stay in. This La Quinta, though? This is new. It can’t have been here for very long — I’d say a few years, maybe? It’s located right off of Highway 59(69 for you newcomers, but it was always highway 59 to me), so you don’t even have to go into town. The room was very clean and everything was nice. I couldn’t get over how nice it was. The bathroom was immaculate, which was amazing, and the bed was comfortable. They allow pets at no extra cost, which is why we decided to stay here.(Options are limited when you’ve got a dog with you.) Luckily, that choice paid off! I didn’t feel super icky waking up, like I definitely slept in some strange bed with sheets of questionable cleanliness. Bed linens were clean, even up to my standards. Wi-Fi was free and fast — it didn’t kick me off at any point or run slowly. The girl at the front desk was really sweet and helpful. The breakfast was good, too, and they even had hash browns! I don’t stay at a lot of hotels, but I don’t usually see hash browns offered, so that was awesome. My boyfriend left his toothbrush in Dallas on accident and the front desk staff gave him one for free, which was nice of them. It appears that Cleveland has a few other options for lodging, some newer and some… questionable, but if I had to stay in Cleveland again, I’d pick La Quinta in a heartbeat. I just don’t think you can beat the cleanliness of the room, especially considering that you’re staying off the highway in a town with a population of less than 10,000. Cleveland just doesn’t usually have nice things, but I’m glad they were able to get this La Quinta.

Nice property — one of the newer LaQuintas. Attractive and clean rooms with free WiFi. Very friendly and efficient front desk help(thanks, Polly!), and a competitive rate(AAA, AARP, or military discount). We’d stay here again.

This spot is so new that I had to add it to Unilocal myself. Everything about it is super clean, modern, and swa-eeet. I hotwired this place for around $ 50 before taxes and I was definitely impressed, especially for the price. If you are looking for a place to rest your head with a free breakfast spread then you have found the right joint. Don’t take my word for it thought… ch-ch-ch-check it out if you are planning to be in the area. You won’t be disappointed… unless you can’t stand clean places to stay with friendly service.: P
