Went there for my grandpas 92nd bday. All of my family on my moms side were there. We had about a 25 person party. When we got there it was horrible. I mean I know serving 25 people at once is a task but we had reservations and they knew we were coming. One server for the whole party and meals came out one or 2 at a time. Some of my family members waited an hour or more for their food. Very poor. Think they would have had more staff to accommodate us. The bread on my patty melt was almost burnt and my girlfriends steak was tough as nails. I like this restaurant because the decore has not changed and its still the same atmosphere. Too bad we got poor service.

Kokomo’s is this little escape outside of the Mankato/St.Peter area. The staff are seasoned and you can tell they really enjoy serving customers. They are known for their char grill — in which you can grill your steak yourself if you’d like. Otherwise, my favorite are the jumbo shrimp. Cooked beautifully and served with a choice of potato and SALAD BAR! Their salad bar is fantastic — fresh and clean. Soup de jour too! I’ve eaten here numerous times, and every time, have been satisfied.
At night, their little bar area is cozy and fun. Karaōke on Sundays was always a great time. It gets crowded, but then it’s even more fun! The drinks are reasonable and created just right. I really miss this place!
