The guy had the worst customer service to me(a male spending over 1k… I guess I spent too much time browsing the store, yet I did make the transition happen even though he continued to act like he was rushing and know other customers where in the store. As he continued with his attitude I told him to cancel the order that was paid for… Customer means alot when a person works hard for their money…

Just AWFUL. I purchase a bed and click set last year and my child’s box spring get broke and the couch is sinking in at the headrest which was shocking to even the worker that was sent to look at the damages. I was told someone would call me in a few days. Never happened! I called the first week, no response. Week 2 I called a few times. Now week 3 daily and never a return call although voicemail says they return calls by end of day! I’ve been up their 3 times and I will Never deal with them again. Buyer beware. Stay away as you get what you pay for.

*Sigh* this was one of the several horrifying experiences we had when we first moved here from out of state.(see US Bank review) We were beginning to wonder if these were signs… thankfully things have improved since! I find myself wondering how I can be the first reviewer and can only deduce two possibilities: 1. I am the only one dumb enough to have ever considered purchasing furniture from them. –or– 2. Everyone else is locked up in a nut house or jail as a direct result of dealing with this place. This was in every way a HORRIBLE experience. I thought the negative reviews on other sites were sensationalized… so like an idiot, I found out for myself. Sure, the prices are reasonable and the furniture is great when you are in the showroom. And actually the staff was nice and attentive before we bought the stuff. The problem began because they seem to not be able to get furniture to your house in one piece… You pay them $ 120(!!) to deliver it to your house and when it arrives, it looks like your living room set was thrown out the back and drug all the way to your house. All three pieces damaged the first time, and when I say damaged, I mean they were just pathetic. No sane person would have accepted that crap. There were scuffs and holes down to the wood on our leather furniture! We were of course, horrified that they would even try to leave something like that at our house. The delivery guys were rude and annoyed that we didn’t just shut up and accept it. They said they’d redeliver(which they did after several phone calls) and then the next set was damaged as well. After that we became ‘problem customers’ and THEY decided that we just were too much trouble and literally showed up at our house and took the furniture back! They did not offer to redeliver. Honestly I am still dumbfounded by their willingness to just give us our money back rather than actually try to deliver an intact product. We spent almost $ 3000 at their store and there was absolutely no apology or offer to fix the problem. They just wanted us to go away. I had to march down to the place and give the manager both barrels until they finally agreed to refund me that instant — all the while all the salespeople are looking at me like I was the crazy person. My husband and I are reasonable people. Reasonable people expect a quality product for their money, an apology and resolution when there’s an issue. We got neither. Please, fellow Unilocalers, DONOTBUYFROMELGIN! It will only cause you headaches. They have multiple locations so beware. If you need more stories of horror — you can find reviews of this store on other sites. This place gets a negative 5.
