Finding a chiro while traveling can be a real challenge! Initially, the receptionist turned me down but I was pleasantly surprised when she called me back to fit me in for a reasonable walk-in price. The office was clean and fashionably appointed with modern touches. There is a large selection of homeopathic supplements and a Keurig machine for the patients, but I did not see any analgesic creams. While there are a lot of(eye roll) religious accents in the décor, I did not feel as though their beliefs were being pushed down my agnostic throat. The doc himself is a likable sort with an abundance of energy, a positive attitude, and a wall of accolades. Although extremely opinionated about Big Pharm and cynical of some other colleagues, he makes some valid points and I believe that he does truly care about defending the integrity of wellness through chiropractic care. I was told that he recently changed the name of his practice to reflect that core value. My neck gets stuck in the compacted mode and I was also suffering from a severe case of torticollis. In the south they call this«Slept on my neck the wrong way.» Dr Brett got in there and«turned my lights on» when he manipulated my head and neck and I felt INSTANT relief. My headache started to subside and I could literally feel the circulation to my brain start again. He worked his mojo on most of my complaints for a good 10 minutes. Ahhhhhhhh. After three days of swallowing Advil like candy, this was the best I could have hoped for. By the next day my headache was completely gone and I started to get back some range of motion in my neck again. I may not want to drink all of the Kool-Aid that Dr Brett is selling, but I will take a little from anyone that can make me feel this good, thank you very much.
