Dairy Queen

We visit often since it’s close to home. I’m addicted to their turtle waffle bowl. Yum… The employees are always very polite and efficient.

This is so good, all of their flavors were just awesome and well home made. Very well managed place.

My husband and I were going through «fast food ice cream» withdrawal after moving from Wisconsin, where Culver’s Restaurants were about as prevalent as McDonald’s. We got desperate one night, and wanted to get our blizzard on.
So we drove out to this Dairy Queen that is kinda in the middle of nowhere, and in sort of a sketchy part of town (well, maybe not too sketchy, but that part where we drove the wrong way and got lost was definitely undesirable).
I didn’t really expect what we got at this location — AMAZING customer service! I mean, DQ is DQ, but when you’re greeted at 10 pm with the same energy and enthusiasm as the servers probably gave someone at 4 pm, now that’s something to take note of.
Of course my ice cream was delicious. And I only had a small chocolate cone with rainbow sprinkles (which was huuuuuuuuuge!). My husband got whatever Girl Scout Cookie blizzard was available, I think the Tagalong one. Mmm. Anyway, we left happy, which was the whole point.
