CBOC, This review is for your wonderful server Mrs. Amanda. Amanda was an absolute gem. The best customer service I have ever received. Her kindness was so genuine, and her attentiveness was much appreciated. We were a group of six, none of us were from the area and were a little lost by all the choices of southern yumminess on the menu. Amanda was so patient and helpful in guiding us on what to order and what we might like. She also has the most adorable accent, and tender smile. Her sense of humor was great too. I seriously wanted to just give her a hug, and have her join us for lunch. I reside in CA and it was nice to get some TN lovin’. I ordered a plate that consisted of ham, stuffing, mashed p, mac-n-cheese and biscuits. oh and they have an apple jam that is sooooo good. Total food baby after I walked out of there. Very inexpensive, and it was pretty good. Even if the food wouldn’t have been all that great, I would be back just to feed off Amanda’s sweet vibes! Great atmosphere inexpensive clean prompt service Good food hassle free parking area store in the front part to buy cutsie stuff n goodies. XOXO TeamAmanda O.

The trout and haddock was good, but the rest if the food was not good. The grits were horrible. The pancake toppings, peach and blackberry tasted really awlful! The cornbread was hard as a hockey puck. The breakfast sausage tasted like eating a rubber band. We complained twice about the food, but it was not the servers fault. Will probably never go back again.

Once upon a time I worked for Cracker Barrel and learned of the wonderful delicious things they did to make every single entrée in their restaurant perfect. They say that a little bit of knowledge can be a dangerous thing therefore no longer being an employee for more than a decade I have seen the decline of quality go down in a lot of the Cracker Barrel restaurants that I have patronized. This Cracker Barrel here in Cleveland has missed the mark on both of my visits. They were so stingy with their biscuits that were like eating dense dough and my breakfast I ordered, the eggs were cold n crusty, my bacon looked like it came from the bottom of the barrel and the hash brown casserole portion was so small, it was ridiculous. I also recently ate there and had their meatloaf special. Years ago when I worked there this used to be my favorite meal to order on my break. But the serving of meatloaf was all broken up and had black burned char all over the bottom and the mashed potatoes were lumpy and my green beans or cold and tasteless. Maybe my memory of this meal was glorified with nostalgia, but it totally ruined whatever memories I had once I ate this disgusting luncheon special. It seems like all of the energy and effort put into making everything come out to the customer in it’s very best form has gone by the wayside and Cracker Barrel needs to go around and identify their establishments that are just not making the mark of quality they once boasted as far as the food goes. On a positive note, the service was impeccable as the wait staff was accommodating and courteous. They’re shop was well stocked and organized with all of the wonderful things that they sell in it. It is neat and clean and above standard. They just need to work on the quality of the food that they are serving here and bring it back to its former glory.

I was totally impressed with how well this Cracker Barrel handled 22 people. We ate here on a Friday morning and got in and out very quickly. Service was excellent and the people had such a good attitude the whole time. The food was great also. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for country cooking!

I’m sure most of you are familiar with the business model of a Cracker Barrel. Quasi-southern cooked food. It’s more of a familiar institution then a fine restaurant. The thing that is great about Cracker Barrel is that it is consistently decent everywhere you go. Asked a waiter once if they had cheese bread and he came back with a piece of toast that had a melted slice of cheese on top of it. Unfortunate and bizarre. That said, the hash brown casserole has always been a favorite of mine.

Sunrise Samplers. Pretty good. Generally speaking this is and has been a consistent location. This visit? The eggs were not well done like we like. The bacon seem overcooked and/or left over; and the sausage patty did not seem to be seared all the way. The worst part of the meal though were the biscuits. Very dry and not very tasty at all, even with some blackberry jam on them. I like Cracker Barrels in general; but this one could step it up just a notch. They were already pretty busy by 10:40; but they need to go harder during those Sunday crowds. They should be used to them by now.

I haven’t eaten at a Cracker barrel in forever. All I could remember is the bacon. Today I had some free time after an early morning at work so I decided to stop in. The bacon is still as good as ever! The rest of the food was OK, as well.

Me and my friend eat here often. The food reminds of me of mamas good home cooking. Our favorite day to eat here is on Thursday for turkey and dressing. We usually get their sweet tea too. For a side she gets their Mac and cheese and I get their mashed potatoes and gravy. We have always had great service from Cracker Barrel so y’all come.
