Recently having gone through a 10 day Master Cleanse, I was lookng forward to finishing the cleanse with a colonic. This would have been my first! I drove 1 hour and 45 minutes round trip to get to this center. I arrived at 2:15 for a 2:30 appointment. I received an email appointment reminder that morning. After waiting for 1 hour along with two other ladies,(one of whom had book an appointment that morning) we finally left. There was no note on the door and all three of us called and and I left a message. They had our call back numbers — at least mine! I was a little put out and waited a couple of days to call. To the credit of the owner, she did try to reschedule and she did ask what she could do to make it right. However, by then, I felt wary of this company. We were told that the equipment was backing up the night before and they had someone out to fix it. This was strike one as I am uncomfortable with the sanitation at that point. Secondly, someone was in the office that morning making bookings for the afternoon. If your equipment was still not functioning, why would you book new afternoon appointments? Why wouldn’t you call to cancel the afternoon or put a note on the door, or stay to alert incoming clients? I was told that they couldn’t call us because the computers were malfunctioning, too. And how could you schedule new appointments when you have an online booking schedule? Maybe, but questionable. And why wouldn’t you check your voice mail? Was that broken, too? I was told it was the fault of an employee who was no longer with them. It may have been an unreliable employee(maybe). but as the owner with malfunctioning equipement, I would think you would be checking on your business a little more closely. I have no confidence in them with such a personal service. I will not go back and would not recommend them. Really wish I could!
